This show brings back memories, I used to not like Sly when I was younger, but watching this with "new" eyes (I haven't watched this since 1997) Sly is my favorite character, this was the funniest episode! Sly is seriously cracking me up!
WOW that last part was somethin' I mean, after Sly got the Silent Treatment and after he landed in the hospital, it looks as if the Dreams do have a soft side for him as they do have a caring heart, but it was good that the Dreams finally forgave him for what he did and also, Tony getting his revenge and it looks as if Sam and Tiffany were not only enjoying it, but also laughing out loud I guess they got their sweet revenge for what Sly did to Tony The moral of the lesson is this: Don't mess with something that isn't yours and don't do anything stupid
Yeah, though he is selfish and greedy I always felt uncomfortable about the way they treated him. As though he didn't have any feelings. I see this behaviour amongst youths in real life. They target someone to treat like the dog of the group and convince themselves it is all good humour.
yea but they do that just clowning around on the show. anybody messes with sly jake sticks up for em in the very last episode they show that they were actually best friends
The only complaint I have of this show is that I don't like how they changed up Matt's character. He went from the level headed band leader to a wimpy pushover who is afraid of Jake. I can see why he left the show.
so they actually changed matt's character from level headed band leader to wimpy pushover who is afraid of jake? Wow.. That's not right, in my opinion. Since matt was the one who put the band together in the first place and wrote all of the songs that band sang. I don't mind that they gave matt's clothes to jake, but jake did not sing. Someone else did jake's singing. The singing voice for jake was Zackary Throne
How can sly be so selfish in this episode? he never listened to matt's advise to get off of jake's bike, he had no respect for jake's property, he hurt tony really badly that tony ended up in the hospital, he blamed matt for his mistake, he never took responsibility for his mistake etc.. he is lucky that he had any friends left at all
Jake's bike was destroyed cause of him. Jake may have been written as some sort of a Fonzie drifter (which was changed the next year when they introduced a brother and uncle) who should left his bike in a storage area or rode to where he get his bike part.
The nostalgia wore off halfway through season 1. Now I'm just watching for those flashes of really tremendous guitar playing. I need to google the composer...
