Me Clark, try living in Silverburn with snow literally up to your waist, I have been snowed in many times, the local rescue Helicopter drops supplies not only for us but also live stock, life is tough out here but the tougher things are the tougher you are.

they actually are being sencible , the reason they are driving slow is because we have never experianced it since 2010 , oh and by the way i live there and experienced it all from the highest in altetude housing estate in Edinburgh and it was 2 feet deep there sooo
furz kolio cheers, it was brutal, windscreen constantly freezing. It looks faster than it actually was driving, speed about 30 to a max of 40mph. The Transit van is really good in the snow with an impressive traction control system.
Actually on new snow the worst thing that people do is "crawl" on it. That simply presses the snow to hard packed ice. As long as you've got OK grip, keeping a little speed will allow the impact of the wheels pressing the snow to impact the snow and is doesn't become such a skating rink. As they now say the UK might have to get used to more weather like this, maybe it's time people learned from the Scandinavians and found out what a difference winter tyres make, even just on cold roads...

Speedie Clark it does look fast but you seem to have good control. Can't believe it just freezing like that shows how cold it auctally is
