I've got to be honest here...Barad Dur is cool, but it's far from what I'd consider the most exciting choice. For starters, it can't really be in-scale. It's just far too large to do in-scale. But it does make me wonder, will there still be an interior that is minifigure scale? What's more exciting to me than the actual set is the fact that we're just getting more because, my choices for 18+ sets are by far Lothlorien, Edoras, and a new and improved $500 Bag End. If they don't do those, I really feel like they'd not be capitalizing on the liscense. My specific ideas are, well, Lothlorien would be made up of a large Mallorn central tree with spiral staircase that leads up to the main home of Calas Galadon where we're introduced to Galadriel. This would be connected to a smaller Mallorn tree via a bridge and platform. This would all be on a raised platform with a river below, including Galadriel's swan boat and three smaller boats for the Fellowship. And, of course, the lowest section would be a staircase ingrained into the ground that leads down to the mirror of Galadriel. Figures would include; Galadriel, Celeborn, Haldir, 2x Lorien Guards, 2x Lorien Elves, Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, Merry Pippin, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, all with new printing to represent their elven broach and new green cloaks.
I wish that they made the Lego lord of the rings and the hobbit trilogies along with the rings of power series,with the skywalker saga treatment as the middle earth saga and also they should add dlc levels and quests not just characters and finally a pre order containing a Lego mini figure of Sauron or elendil as the bonus characters but also they should also add the character creation system in place as well.
Actually, I guess that picture in the rivendell set is accurate for sauron ; In lego demensions, Sauron's body image is almost identical to the rivendell image
Just want to point out that Sauron is 9 feet tall in is physical form we see in The Fellowship of the Ring, so I wouldn't mind a regular minifigure if they maybe just added something around his shoulder or something to make him slightly taller
Maybe, President Business is a little too tall though (if they used the exact same piece method). If they added pieces to lego Sauron, he should be no taller than the Hulk big fig
there used to be a series of minifigs with joints in their legs that were about 1.5 the size of regular ones. alternatively, I think a regular minifig with Sauron's armor would do just fine, he doesn't need to tower over other characters in LEGO form, imo
If I used any Minifigure for reference to Sauron I'd pick the Crystal King from Ninjago. Sauron should be equally or taller than that with his iconic horse-skull helm
Knowing Lego's mech builds from marvel and star wars... no, I feel their best option would be to use the long legs from the Avatar sets or make it look like sauron from the Lego game that's brick built which would annoy Mr cause I want him as a figure

frodo and sam in their orc outfits would definitely make this set a whole lot better

I would guess they will do the siege of Barad'dur, so it will come with Sauron, Isildur, Elendil, battle Elrond and battle Galadriel, etc.
