That was my first thought. Do away with the standard awning and fit the batwing style. I would also do away with the amount of cupboard space above the fridge and fit a larger fridge freezer.
Yes a batwing awning makes sense as it it is a rear entry van . Getting wet on exiting and entering van to get under cover of standard awning is no brainer, wondering why Crusader management doesn’t respond to questions asked 😏

Can Crusader fit a 270 degree batwing awning to these?
