Loved the shot of the photo of Carmy and Will Poulter's character, Luca. There to clue you in that was in fact Carmy that was the chef that Luca felt was way better than him and drove him to work even harder.
Same. I was wondering if Marcus was going to inquire about who it was, but he never asked for a name. As a character, Marcus already knows what an amazing chef Carmy is, so he didn't need that reaffirmation, but as the audience we all were definitely wondering if it was Carm, and I'm glad we got that confirmed.
Aw you cut the best part!! When the manager drops the public school teachers are in their POI and they aren’t getting a check. “We are gonna blow their fucking minds.” I cried at that part.
This episode was really special. Always a sucker for a hero’s journey, that it was Richie was wonderful. When I first finished the episode I thought, “is this the best damn show being made right now?”
This episode is an absolute masterclass in editing, sound design, and scene composition. The whole show really, but this episode really stands out to me because i am an editor and i see the things between the lines sometimes.
In some way "Love story" fits perfectly in this episode and was so masterfully used to close the episode. It feels lyrics used were the right one in Richie's story and Carmy's intervention on it (not in a romantic way but inspirational one).
I think filmed at 'Ever', there's a 'mise en place' episode featuring Ever in Chicago and the corridor and hanging objects Richie first walks past look like they are from there.
i actually hope it's just 3 or 4 seasons, in keeping with its snappiness. plus, i don't think it needs that much more time, given the pace, to wrap things up; if it takes longer, i might only hurt the series overall.

Watching Richie find purpose was magic
So much man.. as a 45 year old trying to get my novel published I felt all his emotions, just beautiful and inspiring

This episode made me tear up in happiness for Richie. Fantastic episode. Should be catalogued in the greatest TV episodes of all time.

So true! I was like oh no when she told him about her new dude like just hoping he’d be okay and he handled it so well!
Richies journey is honestly my fav even at the start of the show I could feel something would change for him and I’m so thankful it did
Seeing Richie find something he loved and understanding how discipline and serving others can be rewarding was a great lesson for everyone.

14:27 I wanted to see Joe's reaction to the legendary English actor Olivia Colman. Was not disappointed, mate.

This episode makes me emotional every-time I watch it. So incredibly well made.
Speaking of Emmys, this season will be considered for the Emmy's next year, whereas season 1 will be for the upcoming one
THE BEST episode of the entire show in my opinion, amazing feel good episode.
probably the best episode of the series.
I’ve been rooting for Ritchie since episode one. He’s my favorite. His personality is just lit 😂😆
This, in my opinion, was the perfect montage episode. Right down to chef Terry peeling mushrooms, and "Every Second Counts"
I saw the name Taylor Swift and clicked
I think filmed at 'Ever', there's a 'mise en place' episode featuring Ever in Chicago and the corridor and hanging objects Richie first walks past look like they are from there.
Probably my favourite episode alongside Marcus and Sydney’s

Well said. 2 more seasons should be enough.
That’s crazy, they used the score from Waves (2019) for that ominous intro.
Digging the Berserk displate bro
This show is a masterpiece
I love this episode so much ❤❤
My favorite episode so far.
Awwww Richie!!!!!
It's a little weird that they served Pequod's Deepdish without the part it's known for, the caramelized crust.
This ep was amazing payoff bc how much Richie was a bitch in s1 and In this ep the 180 was amazing
