If you have an ACE Hardware or an RV Dealership near you go buy some FRESH CABS. It's a Botanical Rodent product it's a pouch. You can put them in your car they have a very clean scent. You can put them in your house garage or RV. You use for as long as they have a scent once scent disappears throw them away and refresh. I put many of these in my RV for the winter. I'm on the east coast. in New York State. I am mixed as to hearing chatty or music sometimes the chattier someone is the less I like it. Try to find Fresh Cabs. Restaurants use these. Hope this helps My husband suggested as well, depending on the year of your car, there maybe a cabin filter I think in our car (2014 Equinox) it's in the glove box I think try changing it out as well. We have two filters to change. Also they have rodent alarms you can buy they plug in using household current that gives off a signal to keep mice, moles out of areas. Not sure where you'd find those. They send off a signal to keep out. It's a clucking noise you and I'd hear not harmful to dogs or cats only mice you can plug them into any outlet. Also don't set traps with poison or peanut butter or cheese if you use FRESH CABS. Mice will by pass them and go for other baited traps. plus with you puppy and kitty you don't want poison around. I'd use the fresh cabs / electric rodent alarms I think I've heard of 100's of suggestions for keeping mice out. From moth balls, to Irish spring soap, to dryer sheets, if you find places where mice can get in wad up tin foil extra fine steel wool also helps in holes. Anything but poison especially if you've a dog or cat. One of my dogs was accidentally poisoned not a pretty sight. My mom in-law used to put poison in her cabinets, one mouse must've gotten into dog dishes storm under sink cabinet I fed her not knowing and well l you can imagine the outcome! We were devastated. Since then I will use any other method for detouring mice invasions. Pay particular attention when fall rolls around and it's getting cooler/colder. Find any cracks go get the can of foam you'd used around windows it seal cracks to keep unwanted critters out!
Thank you so much for this motivation!! I love the more chatty videos!! You are so easy to listen to! I am OBSESSED with your home! It’s so beautiful and my exact style! Im so glad I found your channel!! I don’t have any mice advice though, we live in South Carolina and we see mice every now and then too.
I live in South Carolina too. Born and raised in Mississippi though. I haven’t seen mice either lol other than the garage if you have anything worth getting into for them haha. We have a lot of brush and trees behind our house but never had any mice. 🤷🏼♀️
I like your chatty videos! My mouse story: I live in a rural area of Texas, but even before that, living in a large city, we occasionally had mice inside. Now, living in what I lovingly refer to as “the country” we have mice more frequently than I care to have inside. Right after we moved here, 26 years ago, we saw a mouse in the house. My husband, the great hunter, shot at the mouse with a BB gun! Yes, inside the house! He missed the mouse, but hit the water line to the refrigerator ice maker! 😂 Funny now, not so funny then. Then another time, we saw evidence of mice in our pantry. We set out traps in different places throughout the house, including my walk in closet. One was caught in the pantry trap, so silly us, we thought that was it! About 2 weeks later, I noticed a really foul smell in my closet. Yep, a mouse had been caught, and had died 🤢. My love disposed of it, and again, this time checking all the places we had traps, we thought that was the end of that! One night, as I was going toward the bathroom, I saw what I thought was a roach crawling across the hall. Then it dawned on me, roaches don’t have tails! It was headed toward a hall closet, and when we opened the door and started nosing around, we found a nest with 5 little baby mice. The poor things were nearly dead from starvation, so again my love took care of it. After talking with neighbors and doing some research, I now use peppermint essential oil on a cotton ball in various places around my house to repel not only the mice, but also a lot of insects that like to invade my home! Not only does it keep critters away, but my house smells nice!
Tiffany , I was in a bad mood today until I watched your video ! Your voice is very enjoyable to listen to ! I love those metal door signs too . I have one for the front door ❤️I totally relate about cleaning and putting things away on a rotation all day lol ! My 2 adult boys still live with me ! They tidy but not like me (OCD) I just noticed your white hall mirror , gorgeous !
Michigan girl here. We use clove oil to deter mice. I had to resort to traps in the house at one point but I hated it. In the house you can fill any holes they are getting in by with steel wool. In a garage there's not a lot you can do, though you do have four kitties so maybe they can help out 😉 On a different note I L💚VE that dress! Perfect summer vibes 🌞 🏝
Love your chatty video's.As for the mice we have had them in our basement.Dryer sheets in places helped I stepped on one and wouldn't go back down til Curt got it. Un be known to us she had a family and then the smell started because they died.Again I wouldn't go down for weeks. My husband thought I had lost my marbles.LOL
Tiffany I love your chatty videos yes it is just like spending time with a good friend. I am also enjoying your Foodie Fridays. Don't change a thing. May I ask you where you buy your dresses? I love how comfortable you look. I have not worn a dress in over 40 years :). Thank you for all that you do for all of us. Have a blessed and glorious week.
I love your chatty videos. You can keep doing them ❤️ Your home is so beautiful and calm. Love the the brick every time I see it I think I need to do that . Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed week
Hi Tiffany! Love your videos and always look forward to relaxing on my deck to your Sunday reset while the kids play. I also live in the country, my back yard is surrounded by the woods here in Northeastern, PA. We have all kinds of wild life around here including mice, shrews, deer, bear, raccoons, etc. Our best line of defense for mice is having cats, both inside and outside. We have always had an outside cat family in our 16 years of living here. They always seem to find us, we take care of them and we do give them warmth and shelter in the winter by way of a cat door to our 4 season porch. Otherwise, we have used the steel wool and mint to keep the mice out, but they will still find their way into our garage. Only once did we have mice get inside the engine area and cause problems in a vehichle. It's part if country living sometimes. Looking forward to your next video...take care!
Thank you so much, Shannon! I am definitely learning how to manage living in the country. I absolutely love living here - but we are definitely still learning.
Thank you again Tiffany for sharing your home with us. Your house is Beautiful wether it’s clean or dirty.😊 I really love all your little sun dresses, they are so adorable! I look so forward to watching your videos! Again thank you so much! Have a wonderful day!💕
I live in Central MA and use lavender sachets in my patio cushion bin to keep the mice away. We use dryer sheets to keep them out of our camper in the winter months. Please keep on chatting. 😃
Love your chatty videos! This morning I started a load of laundry, made a cup of coffee and knit on my sock heel while watching and listening. I appreciate your company! I have a huge older porcelain sink but mine is two in one. I have been using your tip about getting the sink hot before bleaching.... Opening up the pores.....works wonders! Thank you. ☕
I enjoy all your videos. Keep up what you do I always enjoy talking videos. But it’s your channel & I appreciate you taking time to bring us into your home. Have a Wonderful week
Hi Tiffany 🌄 👋, My mother worked in her brother's book store and they got ride of the mice with cats fur balls from our cats brush. We put them in mesh bags. It worked. This is just so soothing and makes me want to clean. The chats are fantastic. Music 🎶 🎵 or chats I'll watch. Have a fantastic Sunday. Warm thoughts I send your way Raquel 🙋🏻♀️ 🙈🙉🙊🌬🧘🏼♀️🌳🌳🏡🌳🌳🌳🐀🐈🐈🐈🐈
Wow, I'm so glad I found your channel! At first I was a little hesitant to click because I saw "farmhouse" in the screen name and that's not usually my vibe. But seeing your house, I think I had a misinformed idea of farmhouse style because it's simply lovely. Your story about the mouse in the car had me cracking up. Glad to be here!
You are cracking me up with the mice story! I would be the same way…nope…sell the car…but yeah, who wants another payment. I live in the country and mice are around but not horrible. Of course, we have barn cats that keep the mouse population down. I place Irish Spring in the garage to keep them out of there and it’s a refreshing smell rather than smelling whatever mud boots or whatever is out there. 😂 Your commentary and stories are always great!
Good Morning, Friend! Girl, anyway you want to do the video is GREAT with me! I love your videos no matter which way! Whatever is easiest for you! I appreciate you inviting me into your home! You're SIMPLY the BEST! Love your home, you, gardening, and cleaning! See ya soon....👌❤️🤗
I’m exhausted watching you clean. I don’t mind chit chat, it’s when I have to sit thru an advertisement Of where everything comes from. Love home tour videos. Tfs cheers
I prefer talking. I get to know you and your family (and your home.) I’d never have known there was a mouse problem in your area if you didn’t chat! Love some music too. LOVE that your pantry light goes off by itself. Genius!!!
I was gifted my grandma’s kitchen sink from my cousin who has since passed away. My husband finally agreed to put it in my kitchen. It is an antique cast iron sink with two holes and two drain boards. I’m so in love with it! I can’t help but think about her washing dishes in as well as my aunt’s washing dishes for their mother.
This is my first time watching your channel. I really enjoyed it. Loved the chatty video. And your music is calming. I’d rather hear talking in a video than music that I may not enjoy. I’m so sorry about the mouse situation. They can be bothersome at times, especially in the fall and winter. I use peppermint essential oil on cotton balls in areas where I know they typically are. Can also use steel wool in any openings that they may get in. I look forward to seeing more of your videos!!
Tiffany, Chatty videos are fine. You have such a pleasant voice👍🏼 As far as your mice issue: Living here in CT, they are a problem mainly in the cold months. They like to “come in from the cold” shall we say. Our pest control co. does put some large black boxes outside to get them before they can come in. Unfortunately it doesn’t always deter them so my husband does put traps with peanut butter to get them inside. Not pleasant but it does work. At least they are just field mice and not rats like we had in Fl😬! Make sure your pet food is in airtight containers(they love it) and your deck cushions need to be stored as best as you can in plastic containers. They will make nests in the winter. Welcome to critterville, ha, ha!
Good afternoon Tiffany. I just finished your Sunday reset and had to respond to the mice in the car situation. I lived in the Pacific Northwest for 22 years. I too had a 🐭 in my car. Thank God it was only once but that was one too many times for me. I cleaned my car changed the filter and I had heard that putting dryer sheets around your car would be a deterrent as they do not like the smell. So there I was with Bounce in hand ( I heard Bounce was the stuff to use). I placed them everywhere in my car. In the engine compartment in the trunk anywhere I thought they would try to enter. Bonus- my car smelled amazing. I also did set a trap and caught a little guy that very night. I never saw any after that. Not sure if the Bounce worked but Id like to say it did. Good luck and thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
I have also heard that dryer sheets help! I will have to give that a try. And you're right - the bonus is that they smell fantastic. Thank yu for the tip!
Hehehe that’s so funny about the mice drippings. Girl, I live in between bean and tobacco fields, I have done it all. Someone shared this on TH-cam. I went to Walmart and bout these plug ins. The sell these around the poison and flower feed. Plug them in your home or the garage.
I bought Peppermint oil from Amazon. Mice would get in my outdoor patio furniture and chew on my cushions. Put a few drops on several times a week. So far no more mice.
I love a chatty video! Yours is my favorite of ALL the youtube kitchens. Love the brick and all the drawers. That was a genius design on your part! PS: I just picked up all the ingredients for your turkey meatballs, Monday night's dinner!
Spray peppermint essential oil, mix with some water and spray all over. I spray all over our the outside of the foundation of house, basement and garage and it smell good. Love your dress great video. Until the next one, take care🥰🤗
I love listening to what you have to say and enjoy the company as well doing my own work. So definitely chatty . Look forward to another cooking video as well. Take care
Oh my , in your car 😜. We have lots on my land too here in Tennessee. You have cats, which is awesome to keep them at bay inside the house. That is my solution in my home 😂 we havent had an issue in the house thus far (thank God). We do have an exterminator who comes and sprays outside the house for them, spiders and termites. But they do have all kinds of granules usually at Lowe's, Home Depot and I am sure other stores, you just have to look around. Funny story we did have one in the garage when we moved in (not knowing) but, we were doing post with concrete. 😂😂 that gross bugger ate into the bag and ate some 😳😳. It was quick crete , needless to say when we found him in the bucket next to it he was sooo swollen. He was to soon to eat anything. Me and my family laughed so hard. They are crazy. Talking videos are good, as you can see I like to talk too. So go ahead and talk as much as you want. 😂 I think it just makes it more personable. So I do watch I dont want them to talk because it is to much on how they need to loose weight but girl they are as big as my thighs. 😜 I really just watch because she does good store walk thrus, in all my stores. Enough about that, have a great week and see ya next time. Always God bless and be safe 🙏💖
I totally understand what you're saying about the cats. I am thankful we have 4 of them to wander the house and keep it mouse free. Danny, my husband, sprayed down the garage with mouse repellant and put mouse traps down, so hopefully that keeps them away. We also just bought some of the ultrasonic plug in repellants to put in the garage and the pantry so hopefully those help as well.
We live with mice once it gets cold. Thankfully, our sweet feline, Elle, is a fierce huntress. BUT, I found a great mouse repellent that is people and pet friendly and it seems to help. I get this through Grove Collaborative and it is the EarthKind brand Stay Away Rodent repellent pouches. Well worth the $$!
I love your videos so much!!! You have helped me so much to become a plant mama!!! I bought a plant on clearance at Walmart that I was not sure would survive!! We named him George since he was missing half of his leaves. He is thriving so much and has tripled in size! I feel if I name them they will live. LOL. Crazy about the mice in the vehicle. Glad you caught it.
I am so sorry about the mice! I am in Pennsylvania, I now have someone come and exterminate! We got new countertops in an old house and needless to say, moving in here I got someone to come 4 times a year and so far everything is good!! Fall is the worst time for them also. You could put the Irish spring soap in garage maybe that would help. I am originally from Washington State, and every coast has some sort of fun insect 😂
I love all your videos! Their always so calming and relaxing to watch. I even clean along with you sometimes. Were in the process of building our new house. We're at the point for paint and I love your paint color. May I ask what your paint color is in your livingroom and kitchen? Thanks sweet friend!!
I lived in the country in PA as a kid - My mom would go to war with mice every year, lol. Here's my tips: Keep all of your food in containers, not the bags/boxes they come in, that includes baking things like cocoa, flour, etc. Also - get a cat or two, I know it's another responsibility but they help A LOT. If you think it's bad in your car - wait until they are in your house, one turns into 50 quick! I know it sucks to hurt them, I'm an animal lover too, but you have to get rid of them -this is war, lol. Also -If you get de-con, keep it up away from where cats/dogs can get it (like put in back of cabinet in garage or up high on top of shelving, etc. Good Luck! I love your videos!
Tiffany... I can relate about those dreadful mice...🤯 Don't, whatever you do, poison them. They croak and then smell 100 times worse! 🤢 A guy told my husband to mix peppermint oil and water in a spray bottle and spritz around. They are supposed to not like that smell. We are trying it. Hope it works!!
Good point, Angie!! I have heard a lot of peppermint oil suggestions, so I bought some from Amazon. It should be here Wednesday. We also bought some of the ultrasonic plug in repellants.
Love your videos , the east coast has a lot of mice I get it.lol Moth balls do work well Do you use just a towel to let your pots dry , I have always used a wire rack but this kitchen is small and I think I like to see more counter space. I love the chatty videos . So happy I found you! Welcome to the east coast!!
Love all your videos, do like the more chatty video my husband and I had an issue with mice a few years ago what worked for us was peppermint oil spray
They don't like peppermint scents and tea tree oil , on amazon they have these things for your car that you can use essential oils on and I have heard they work. I'm from Oklahoma and we have the same problem because we leave in the country . Good luck!
Ew to the mice lol! I grew up on a farm, but I still hate mice. When I was about 20, I bought my first new car. I was going on vacation, so I asked my parents if I could park in our detached garage while I was gone. I came home and noticed a stuffed animal I kept in the backseat was torn apart and my shifter had been chewed on. Spoil gross! I cleaned everything up and one morning while driving to work, a big old mouse came crawling out of the air vent! 😩Just awful! I ended up having to buy some D-con to get rid of it.
I love the snowdrop sent also. I found the room spray on amazon it will have to do until Christmas time I am not paying 4 times the amount of the cleaner on amazon.
Oh Tiffany you could so be an Irish mum, "I really miss them buggers!" when you get a day to yourself 🤣. BTW please keep doing chatty vlogs. You're so knowledgeable and I learn a lot from how you do stuff. Have a super week 🥰Trish
We have mice where we are and we use a product called Fresh Cab. You put it under the hood of your car and it lasts about 3 months. We get it at a local hardware store but it's available on Amazon
Love the chatty videos! So sorry to hear about your mice issue. We have them here in the midwest too. The mice have climbed into the walls of our outdoor hot tub and chewed the wires. Luckily you have cats, so if mice do get in your house your pets will take care of them - or at least let you know about them.
Life in New England. we lived in NH and the winter of 2021. Horrible smell when heat on and mouse drops in filters We brought it to the dealer. They found that mice had eaten the wires, air bags etc. The insurance totaled our truck which only had 1400 miles. The dealer had totaled 3 Toyota tundras that winter. The joy of NH. The dealer said Toyota changed the wiring to soy. Mice like soy! We moved to VA a year ago. So far no mice.
Do you remember where you got your Be Kind scrabble decoration you had at the top of your stairs? I am thinking I need one for my house and one for my classroom! I’m new here so I apologize if you’ve said already!
Love your house. Sorry to hear about your mice problem. The ants are our biggest enemy right now in our area in CA either way pests are pests. Lol. Our hunter the cat does a good job on the mice always leaves us a gift in our room so getting out of bed is always a surprise. Never get out in the dark. Lol. I would rather have alittle more music and less talking. Sorry lol. Have a great week
I like your chatty vlogs. But I do like back ground music soft. Some have the music so loud that you can’t hear what they are saying. I really like ALL of your videos. So real. Have a great week. Looking forward to your next video.
Your house is absolutely gorgeous. I love it!! I sooo wish I could have one like this. If you don't mind my asking was it a new home build or did you buy an old house and fix it up? Either way it's gorgeous! You may have said it in one of your other videos but I'm a newer subscriber so I'm currently going through all your videos one by one lol!
I am petrified of mice!! Had some in my yard and they lived in my bbq grill!! Ugh! I didn't go outside on my deck for months! My husband set traps and they are finally gone!! 😝😝
Love your videos…I prefer chatty ones, especially yours. You are so down to earth. It’s a pleasure listening to you. And yesterday was my day of cleaning. Had my kids and grandkids over the holiday 😳😳😳. Can you say “messy”……
I prefer a chatty video Tiffany. As always, thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I adore your videos. Normally I don’t love chatty, but your voice is so relaxing! I’m actually going to put your videos on for a re-watch today!!
You can use moth balls for the mice. We use them in our camper when it's in storage for the winter.
I always enjoy your videos. You asked and I like a mix in videos some music 🎶 🎵 and some talking yours are always enjoyable no matter what. 😉
I appreciate that! You are so sweet.
I love your jazzy music choices but I love your chatting too.
Thank you so much, Elle!
I’m exhausted watching you clean. I don’t mind chit chat, it’s when I have to sit thru an advertisement
Of where everything comes from. Love home tour videos. Tfs cheers
I lived on a lake on the east coast and they constantly got into our house especially when it got colder out. We used traps and they worked great.
OMG Tiffany, thank you for that info about the stinky smell in my car from air conditioning. I have that also! Great info!
I prefer talking. I get to know you and your family (and your home.) I’d never have known there was a mouse problem in your area if you didn’t chat! Love some music too. LOVE that your pantry light goes off by itself. Genius!!!
Thank you, Linda!!
Oh, Heather. I bet that’s absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful thought to have every time you use it. ❤️
Tiffany,
Chatty videos are fine. You have such a pleasant voice👍🏼
As far as your mice issue:
Living here in CT, they are a problem mainly in the cold months.
We start and run the car daily to help keep them from nesting. We got a cat for our home and that helped tremendously. We don't even see them anymore.
I love you chatting. You keep me company.
Thank you so much, Colleen!
I really enjoy your Sunday videos....after I get all my work done I make my iced coffee and sit and enjoy your content
Your voice is very pleasant & your home is gorgeous 💜
Thank you so much!
Hehehe that’s so funny about the mice drippings. Girl, I live in between bean and tobacco fields, I have done it all. Someone shared this on TH-cam. I went to Walmart and bout these plug ins. The sell these around the poison and flower feed. Plug them in your home or the garage.
I love listening to you. Keep it up!!!
I bought Peppermint oil from Amazon. Mice would get in my outdoor patio furniture and chew on my cushions. Put a few drops on several times a week. So far no more mice.
I find peppermint essential oil works well! I also put the oil in my door tracks of my home. 💗
Thank you so much!
U r so adorable... And ur house is gorgeous.... God 🙏🏻 bless u and ur family
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks so much for another great video always enjoy your videos so much hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie
Thanks so much!!
Thank you so, so much! I am buying some now!!
I love listening to what you have to say and enjoy the company as well doing my own work. So definitely chatty . Look forward to another cooking video as well. Take care
Thank you so much, Ruby!
Yes!! Another great video!!! I love when your chatty videos, music is ok too!!! Love your home!!! Can't wait for next video!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks so much 😊
Just started watching your channel.. You have the most relaxing voice.. I really enjoy watching you cook and am going to enjoy your meals!
You've inspired me to detail my stove!
Love the chatting. I don't have any mice advice.
Have a blessed Sunday. Thanks Tiffany Jennifer 🌸🌷😍
Thank you! You too!
I think it just makes it more personable. So I do watch I dont want them to talk because it is to much on how they need to loose weight but girl they are as big as my thighs. 😜
I really just watch because she does good store walk thrus, in all my stores.
@@CharlotteGroveFarmhouse yes I have those plug in repellents too.
We also have moles around the house and it helps with them too.
👍
Baby Oil works really well on stainless steel appliances. 🌸
Haha, Kelly!! I love that!! Thank you for sharing that with me.
Oh my gosh the mice story! 😩 I would struggle to drive the car. I understand how you feel!
Girl, I AM!!!! Ugh! And we JUST PAID IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We use the Irish Spring soap for our boat and it does work at keeping the mice out.
BTW, I LOVE LOVE CHARLIE!!❤️❤️
Love your videos , the east coast has a lot of mice I get it.lol Moth balls do work well
Do you use just a towel to let your pots dry , I have always used a wire rack but this kitchen is small and I think I like to see more counter space.
Good luck!
Thank you so much!
Hi friend! I just found your channel and you have the sweetest house!
I personally prefer chatty videos. Love your dress. Have a beautiful day!
I love your dress! You look so pretty xx
Your house always looks so nice! Ohhh, I hate mice! I am terrified of them. I hope you find a solution. I like hearing your stories and talking!
Thank you, Yolanda!
I love the snowdrop sent also. I found the room spray on amazon it will have to do until Christmas time I am not paying 4 times the amount of the cleaner on amazon.
I am so in agreement with you!!
I really like the chatvideos more than the music ones, because i am always also cleaning and can't always watch 😁🤍
Awww poor Charlie 🥰. She didn’t know what to do with her shelf.
Oh Tiffany you could so be an Irish mum, "I really miss them buggers!" when you get a day to yourself 🤣. BTW please keep doing chatty vlogs. You're so knowledgeable and I learn a lot from how you do stuff. Have a super week 🥰Trish
I love your casual maxi dress!!! Would you mind saying where you got it from? It seems like such an easy every day dress ❤️ Love your videos as usual!
We have mice where we are and we use a product called Fresh Cab. You put it under the hood of your car and it lasts about 3 months. We get it at a local hardware store but it's available on Amazon
Awesome, thank you so much!
Love the chatty videos! So sorry to hear about your mice issue. We have them here in the midwest too. The mice have climbed into the walls of our outdoor hot tub and chewed the wires. Luckily you have cats, so if mice do get in your house your pets will take care of them - or at least let you know about them.
That is what I am hoping! Thanks for being here, Emily.
Life in New England. we lived in NH and the winter of 2021. Horrible smell when heat on and mouse drops in filters
We brought it to the dealer.
❤love the chatty vlogs❤
Thank you, Kathy!
OMG! Your dress looks so comfy. Where did you get it?
Do you remember where you got your Be Kind scrabble decoration you had at the top of your stairs? I am thinking I need one for my house and one for my classroom! I’m new here so I apologize if you’ve said already!
I’m with you…I love nature but mice are gross and so hard to get rid of! Love your videos ❤️
Yes!!!
I love you videos!! Chatty is better to me!!
Oh, Mary, I can imagine! I bet it was a lovely visit though. Thank you so much for being here!
I’m new to your channel! Your voice is soooo soothing omg❤️ your video quality is everything as well! What camera do you use for your videos?
