[4K FANCAM / WOOSAN 우산 FOCUS] Illusion + WAVE // 에이티즈 (ATEEZ) in Copenhagen (04.03.2023)

I did the very impulsive thing of buying tickets to see ‪@ATEEZofficial‬ THIRD time for their European BREAK THE WALL tour in Copenhagen and I also bought a new camera which, well… I’m not gonna lie (and you can tell during some videos because I had issues focusing on the performance every now and then) was a risky move. After I figured out how the camera works and what the problem with my damn autofocus was, filming went a lot smoother and I think the videos look fine? They are supposed to be in 4K according to the camera :D
Copenhagen was nice, I went to the beach before the concert and I met and talked to a lot of European atinys which is always fun. Unfortunately the thing I feared the most actually came true in Denmark: General Admission was basically empty. The floor was filled with VIPs and some GAs up to the technicians that were located in the middle of the pit but in the back, there were only a handful of people enjoying the concert. Some sections in the upper ranks were empty as well. I’ve been keeping my eye on ticket sales since the tour was announced because it’s something I’m interested in and when I noticed several stops still had VIP tickets (which are the first ones to sell out and usually the hardest to get, especially with a group that’s gaining more and more popularity like ateez) or had entire sections available, I was worried. Worried kq is going to lose money from this tour, worried they might think concerts not selling out means Europe has no interest in the boys coming back which is absolutely not the case. I don’t think I’ve met a fandom that’s as passionate about their group as Atinys and every person I talked to thoroughly enjoyed the concert they’d been to.
I have no answer as to why so many tickets didn’t get sold, ESPECIALLY for the weekend concerts as Brussels and Copenhagen were the shows that had VIP tickets available up until a few days before the concert. I know some Atinys went specifically to those shows BECAUSE VIP was still available but yeah … I’m not sure if kq is gonna go back to a 5 cities tour like they did in 2022 (and even then Warsaw was cancelled, unfortunately) or if they’re going to try again next year with the same amount of cities.
Whatever they’re going to do, I hope they’re going to let Ateez rest before they hit the road again because for some reason, Wooyoung felt the need to tell us he wasn’t at his best (but he wasn’t sick so we shouldn’t be worrying!) last night. I still have no idea what he was referring to and you can see in my videos he was doing fine? But yeah, 8 shows and 3 fansigns in the span of about 3 weeks was probably a bit much. Add the newly won stalkers to the mix and I wouldn’t be surprised if the teezers are exhausted by now. So please kq, if you see this: Let them rest, just for a bit.
