    Your video was a great help. I went straight to the Home Depot and bought the parts and moved my lawn sprinkler this morning. I didn't have to do any guesswork because of your video. I have never done anything with lawn sprinklers! Thanks again!

    Great video. Thanks for taking the time to post this. I have several heads that I want to move to get better coverage and then add a new head or two. This is a great instructional video.

    You had a nice clean assembly here but usually you want to run the zone for a bit with the flush nozzle on to flush out any debris that fell into the line. Then attach nozzle. But overall this is an excellent technique that doesn't involve any cancer in a can.

    Why did you use a new sprinkler head as opposed to re-using the one that was previously used?

    can i use 1/2 inch drip irrigation tube instead of funny pipe? It's flexible, not sure if wall thickness is the same

    When you screw the adapter elbow on, just under two minutes into the video, how is it that when you tighten it, it faces the exact direction you want it to go? What do you do when you tighten it if it’s facing the opposite or 90° from the direction you want?

    Seems like you used an extra fitting you really didn't need. I always screw the funny pipe barb fitting directly into the sprinkler. They come in several different sizes that will work with any sprinkler.

    That was one thing my grandfather always told me learning how to do things around your own home. Mail , I am certified in electrical carpentry heating and cooling. Im also Certified Plumbing. That's just like my sprinkler. He I went out there and fixed him. My name called landscaping company they Charged him over $500. A matter.
    Of fact I told my neighbor. I told him if he helped me.I won't charge him. But what did stupid do he called.

    what do you use to keep such a clean division of grass and the dirt/mulch? Grass and weed killer spray?

    • @homerepairsbypaul7186
      @homerepairsbypaul7186  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike L. No weed or grass killer. Just edge grass after you mow the lawn and then rake dirt/ mulch at edge line to even out.. Thanks for checking out video Mike.

    Easiest way to get the funny pipe on is to heat it up with a lighter gently and then stick the barb in.

    • @gpzjeffrey7974

      I use a heat gun on an extension cord. Goes on super easy and seals nice and tight as the funny pipe cools.

    Paul likes to get down n dirty with nature. Is it required to lie down on the yard to screw in the sprinkler? LOL 😂 JK! Thanks for the video. I need to move 2 and I told my wife I could find a cheaper and easier route. 👍🏼😎
