    It is the best... Nasi Kukus is actually a simple dishes and not really fancy... But it tastes sooooooo delicious... I can't deny that... Malaysia has a lot more food to offer you... It is actually originated from Kelantan

    Late to the party here. Teh O Ais is Iced Tea without creamer or milk. If you want no sugar, you'll need to say "kurang manis" which means "minus to sugar". Kurang manis is pronounced Coo-rung (Coo like a cool, minus the "l", and rung like the past perfect tense of ring; manis = ma (like mama) and nis sounds like niece. Hope this helps!

    U guys had it all. Nasi lemak, nasi ayam, briyani, nasi kukus, nasi kerabu, nasi dagang etc. I hope u have also tried nasi tomato n ayam masak merah, nasi minyak n kurma ayam, nasi ulam n ayam percik.

    Teh kosong shouldn't contain either milk or sugar. Teh O contains sugar, teh susu contains condensed milk, and teh tarik is frothed tea made with sweetened milk.

    I dont know if its available in The west coast , but in Kuantan / Pekan (Pahang State) , nasi kukus also come with chicken or beef Opor (a.k.a black rendang)

    you can buy that brown gravy (normally thick beef curry gravy, chicken also can) separately and try to dip with white bread it yummy too just try, you will love it

    Maliki nasi kukus is delicious, you can also try Ilham NK in Damansara, you may need to use Grab to get there. There's always a queue, a testament of their popularity!
    Near Maliki NK, there's Pak Gembus Nasi Ayam Gepuk. It's Indonesian style, you can custom the spicy level, the max level is truly challenging haha.

    Gravy like that you need kerisik. U can make ur own kerisik using coconut shavings and keep dry-frying (pan fry without oil) until it turns brown and pound it until it's pasty and it produces its own oil. or u can google 'kerisik'.

    The reason y the rice taste better coz it's not cook like normal or nasi lemak rice. Kukus mean steam which mean the rice is steam cook and it's a much to eat with ayam berempah which is chicken fried with spices and also a must eat with curry gravy.

    You order teh ais.. teh ais came with condensed milk... that why its sweet... you need to order teh o.. teh o ais is only tea with no sugar or milk

    Your teh "O" ais kosong ( ice tea minus sugar) looks very much like teh ais (milk ice tea) to me...or was it my bad eyesight? it was either the waiter who messed up the order or the drink maker who misheard the waiter. they sometimes just shout the order hahah -)
