I remember getting a sheet of those and using them for random letters. I don't recall them doing that though. Curious if I was just oblivious or if the disappearing rabbit was a special release. I did the same thing with the eclipse stamps (Scott 5211). I bought them, used them, and only learned later that the moon was heat sensitive and would appear when rubbed with a finger.
