Purandara Daasa/Dasaru (Kannada) is a prominent composer of Dasa sahithya, a poetic form of the Madhwa philosophy. He is widely considered as the Pitamaha of Carnatic Music in honour of his significant contribution to Carnatic music.He wrote about 5,00,000 compositions in number, are called 'Dasara Pada Galu.' She did maintain vibrant tempo with captivating tone n diction. It is good to see M.S.Amma with great National leaders like Morarji Desai, Rajendra Prasad and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,perhaps she sang this song on the above occasion.
Great music embodied in a simple soul.She is an example to show how from an ordinary background rose to himalayan heights amidst the present generation of showy personalities,some of them even inviting controversies to get cheap popularity! Will be remembered like MEERA.
Superb first pic.....This song just sounds like bala kanaka maya chela so I have to remember the raaga athaana... very nice upload,the pictures takes us back to freedom struggle,so many great personalities like Lal Bahadur shastri,MS amma literally saw so many great people in her life,great people carry that aura and energy that it creates a sense of goodness and positive energy.No doubt India had so many saints,all were so great......hmmmm.....

I have a hard time connecting any one person to 'Sakala Graha Bala Neene...', which we know is a glorification of Narayana saying 'You are the container of all the power of the Grahas". I fail to see the logical connection between the song and pictures. Maybe.a sequence of shots of Srirangam, Tirupathi, and the like will serve better? Merely my opinion.
