@@ThePickleballPirates - in the end, it didn’t matter, as far as the win, but it’s not a good look for them. The winning team called them on it a couple times, and a good sport would have called for a replay, if that is permitted.
Makes sense. I know it was unintentional, but the different styles in play of a young, power speed game vs an older power, less speed and a little more touch, all made for an interesting contrast. It’s one of the videos I enjoyed the most due to the differences in play style, makes it different than most of the content. Thanks for posting and replying.
@@Tedsterr-pe6ie I did not play well that day for sure (slept maybe 5 hours night before), but cannot say that I drove a lot, maybe a couple of times. As for speedups in general, that's just my style. Joe with his new Selkirk Amped Air definitely drives more, but also not too much according to the stats here: share.pb.vision/video/share/ef9nyimpmfev?rf=PIRATES They played very aggressive, especially Austin. We hit too many balls that were going out. With power paddles the game overall definitely changes a lot. It is harder and harder play against bangers.
Who are the Bangers, this is a normal 4.5+ play. if you can't handle those faster balls, you are < 4.5. 4.0+ you need to get use to those balls to be 5.0.💫
Played with joe perez at my local park in south florida. Guy is GOOD
The team that lost made more than a few questionable out calls.
That's questionable :) . But they definitely stole a point, probably because messed up position while switching sides.

This was so good to watch, Thanks.
Love the point at 19:20. Good stuff guys.
yes, that one was fun
Why did Mark and Joe play in the 8 - 29 age bracket, and not the 50+?
Did not have good enough competition in 50+

Good comeback from Mark and Joe, just a bit short. Austin (black shirt) is definitely the banger, geez.
Question- You guy's usually don't bang like that or miss in the net that much- It looked like you both changed your game play what happened?
what side are you asking?
@@ThePickleballPirates Yours side (Mark and Joe)

Joe's touch is so nice
No way these guys r 5.0 they would get crushed where we play
3:36
That's because you have never recorded and watched yourself on video. Looks like you would be screaming in horror watching where you play.
U right, I did recently and on video it looks like shit🤣🤣🤣
yeah, that means any of these teams would pickle most people where you play
Point #13 was a bad call. The ball was in , but called out.

Austin drives almost every single ball, didn't you notice?
5.0?
yes, that was the bracket, and three of the players on court have DUPR above 5.0 too.
Guy in blue hat serve is illegal, hitting way above waist
Apparently you have wrong image of human anatomy :)
I would argue Austin's serve is illegal some of the time. Does a little jump when he serves. Have to have at least one foot on the ground at contact.
@@tombatenhorst7563 Definitely. But Mark and Joe handled it was solid return games.
@@tombatenhorst7563 def illegal serve 100%. Both feet are off the ground on contact
No thanks i don't want a racket like the spazy guy & he needs to quit calling balls out that are in
Thanks for watching!
young kids arent 4.0
They are definitely not 4.0. One is 5.0, one is 4.8
