Iske bawajood bhi India Ravi ka paani Pakistan ko de raha tha jis par uska haq nahin tha. Ab agriculture ke liye India ko Ravi ke paani ki zaroorat badh gayi hai aur wo apne haq ka poora paani apne Jammu Kashmir ko de raha hai. Afsos, Pakistan mein ye baat logon ko galat tareeke se batayi jaati hai. Awaam ko sach batana chahiye.

Nehru was overly generous in allocating 80% of water to Pakistan in the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 . Maximum water for Pakistan , as a lower riparian nation , should have been less than 50%/ India should seek a review in her favour of the Indus Water Treaty. River Beas is only a tributary of River Sutlej . Beas does not even enter Pakistan. Chenab i.e. Chandrabhaga is basically a river of Himachal Pradesh. It belongs to HP and has a very small Kashmir connection. Chenab's waters should be diverted to Ravi and other Indian rivers including Yamuna. India got in her share waters of only two rivers compared to 3 rivers for Pakistan..

Kashmiris are lucky they are in India. Their water is not stolen by Punjabi generals and farmers like the waters of Sindh and KPK. Imagine what look it is giving you, India can easily make it look like Pakistan is avoiding Kashmiris from utilising a Kashmiri River (Jhelum). After all, if you care so much about Kashmiris you should sacrifice Jhelum and Chenab rivers for them 😂

India is taking the right steps well within her rights in the Indus Water Treaty i.e. Stopping totally the waters of River Ravi by constructing Shahpur Kandi Dam and dams on Ravi’s tributaries like River Ujhh and River Basantar . Construction of maximum number of hydro electricity dams / navigational facilities on Rivers Chenab , Jhelum and Indus and also utilising fully ,for irrigation-al / drinking water purposes, India’s small share in these rivers.

یہاں سے اسی کلومیٹر کے فاصلے پر بلوکی بیراج ھے جہاں راوی چناب میں نہیں ملتا بلکہ چناب سے نکالی گئی ایک لنک نہر کا پانی اس میں شامل ھوتا ھے راوی کے چناب میں ملنے کا اصل مقام لاہور سے 270 کلومیٹر دور تھانہ حویلی کورنگا کا گاؤں قتالپور اور سردار پور ھے جو تحصیل کبیروالہ ضلع خانیوال میں واقع ھے۔ راوی بیاس اور ستلج میں انڈیا سے پانی واگزار کروایا جا سکتا ھے اگر کرتار پور اور ننکانہ صاحب میں انڈینز کی انٹری ذرا سخت اور مشکل کر دی جائے اور کھیوڑہ کے پنک سالٹ کی برامدی قیمت بڑھا دی جائے تو
