Just by seeing how good the Space A40's are... One can only imagine just how GOOD the future Liberty 4 Pro's are going to be like with their next improvements. Great video as always, my man!
Well, now we know the Liberty 4 Pros are not worth the price, the A40's do everything they do except the bass, which you get from gaming mode, I expected more.
These are solid! I used the Rock preset and some wavelet tuning and they are immersive. I have Sony x4 and Sennheiser M3... these don't feel as wide with the same separation to the sounds...but it's a really charming sound. Still really immersive. Not as thumpy as Sennheiser but more punchy bass than Sony, I always felt the bass on those spreads too much, I guess they call it muddy. I've never heard bose headphones. These might not be as great as those either... but they are really solid. I don't think any of those are hundreds of dollars better than these honestly. But they are probably better. But these are solid and well worth the money. I'm still playing with tuning.
The Space Q45 headphones and they are excellent! ANC right up there with the best- and 50 hour battery life. I also have the Space A40's earbuds and they are also great! Great ANC! Excellent battery life- close to 8.5 hours with ANC on. I recommend both of these highly!
Never owned a pair of soundcore, so I decided to go with the Q45, I own Life P2 Minis, they sound great and I trust soundcore now. I hope the new purchase will sound good.

@@jman1080 Its decent however, the bass, treble, and mid accuracies arent that good. Also, the ANC does affect the bass and the bass clarity. It will sound differently depending on the situation. Lets say im on a plane, it will sound more airy than when im in a car. But if you get the EQ right, it sounds decent.

Great review! I'm loving the option to hear how they sound. It would be great to compare the devices to Cleer Audio's products, like the Alphas or the Ally Plus 2.
When it comes to sound I do think it is a personal experience. How the sound is perceived also depends on your ear canal length. Earbuds that are tuned with a reference frequency of 6K sound the best to me. If I listen to treble it's the most loud at 6k for me - so that area for me mostly needs to be turned down. These buds have a peak at 6K in your measurements and sound quite off to me in the treble region (like with the A40). I like the sound sample and measurements thanks for the great review :)

@@douwedevries2026 yes it does I find that soundcore app is one of the best when it comes to their app their eq response makes a big difference. Sound out of the box for me is meh after eq they sound amazing. Putting them against my Sony and some other higher end headphones they still sound better

Really good review. Think the A40 has multipoint (says so on the soundcore website). Besides the tuning, do you notice any difference in sound resolution or technical performance between the L3P and A40? Also surprised you're still experiencing signal instability on your l3p, haven't had any on mine since the 4.82 update months ago.
I tried to get multipoint to work on A40 but no luck. App doesn't have option for it either. Maybe a software update will address this. Technically I think the L3Ps have better dynamics. I also prefer its tuning, closer to that of the Q45s. Doesn't happen as often but I still get drop offs once in a while.
@@aaronloudnwireless Hi Aaron, multipoint works just fine for me when "combine audio and connection quality" (Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and an ASUS Zenbook Pro 15, both have Bluetooth 5.0), as does the Liberty 3 Pro. Not sure if they use the same bluetooth chipset though - the Liberty 3 Pro sounds noticeably brighter when LDAC and smoother with AAC, while on the A40 and Q45 the difference is barely noticeable for me. It does seem there are some Bluetooth issues with the Q40 not often reported as my friend also has them but they work poorly with his phone (ASUS ROG Phone) where one earbud cuts out unless held a certain way pressed up to the ear (he was able to get a replacement but it had the same problem). I still prefer the L3P sound overall but like you said it does give me occasional dropoffs but I was more disappointed by the Sony Linkbuds S giving more dropoffs when it was in my thick jacket pocket on a busy commute. I find both L3P and Q45 have somewhat of a W-shape but the emphasis is more towards lower-mids in Q45 and upper-mid/lower-treble in L3P, so drums and vocals sound thinner on L3P than Q45.

Thinking about grabbing Sony XM4 but people keep pressing more and more about sound core Q lineup. Which one should I pick? Kinda hard to choose because no store has a sound core headset I can try on. XM4 audio quality could be better, isn't it?
Sony is great, you won't be disappointed. I dunno if they're twice as good as Soundcore though. But Sony are consistently the standard setters in the industry.

I got the Soundcore Space A40 and I am having problems when I watch youtube videos on the computer the sound cuts out..also sometimes people says I sound a bit "robotic" and there is some interference noise on calls. I was thinking about returning them since I already asked for a replacement and the new ones are better but some problems still persist. What earbuds do you recommend that they are around the same budget (under 80 euro) that have good battery and good microphone quality for calls?

Bro I have q30 and you can not use ANC when using a 3.5mm jack. I don't recommend you to use ANC at home because ANC is antinoise waves that can hurt your ears. You can research it. Even if I could use ANC while connecting a 3.5mm jack I would not do that because I never use ANC at the home. I just purchased Q45 after 3weeks remind me I will answer all your questions about Q45

There are so many similarities between Q45 and Q30. The Q30 even has some features the Q45 does not. If you were a cheap headphone user, it would also be a budget-friendly headphone. One of the best features of the Q45 is the "Adaptive noise canceling" feature, which is only found in expensive headphones. Unlike other types of noise canceling, this type does not put much pressure on your ears. As far as comfort is concerned, it is so much more comfortable thanks to its skin-friendly memory foam earcups. Basically, it doesn't make my ears sweat. As another great feature, it has "Wind noise reduction". You can find it in settings. During the time I had the Q30, the wind noises made a lot of noise. With the Q45, you can filter this annoying noise if you turn it on in the settings. If you have Q45 now, and still did not install "Soundcore" app, just install it and enjoy. Great video I’m very interested in the Q45 but I have the Q20’s and I love them except the clamping hurts a lot especially if I’m wearing me glass I can only watch 2 or 3 short TH-cam videos before I have to take them off because of pain. Another youtuber said he thinks the Q45 headphones are comfortable and that they don’t clamp too bad but in your video it looks like they do. Would you still rec come these or do you know of a better pair of headphones that don’t clamp very hard but still have a great sound quality and decent or ok noise cancelation. Because the q30 has too heavy bass, the sound is not clear and distorted, and the q30 has a light pressure, which is not suitable for my small head. I sold the q30, is it the same as the q45? Just bought Q45 from Alibaba for 86$ LOL probably cargo price will be around 8-15$ still it is big deal unlike it is 150$ in Amazon. I am owner of Q30 I love my headphone. The only problem of Q30 is it is not power off automaticly when you disconnect from your phone or when you turn off bluetooth of your phone. You just need to press button for 5 seconds. Now I hope q45 is doing better job on that.

The details of these reviews are easily in the top 10 percent of the zillions of headphone videos I watch (I'm kind of a gear junkie) I'm still on the fence about the 45's though, Sony's XM5s sound better to me in sound tests that I've listened to BUT I don't know that they sound 250$ better. In short I'd like sony's more but features and sound that close at that price gap makes them a 50/50 choice for me at the moment.

Apparently they pushed out an update to the A40s that significantly upgrades the call quality in noisy environments. I hope so since the default quality seems pretty crap from your sample. Nice review, mate.
Maybe you can get them right with the EQ but meh I can't imagine it getting better than well EQ'd Q30s. This sample was not super promising. Wonky highs, recessed lower mids and ugly bass. I like flat to 100 Hz and then 2.5 dB/octave rise down from there as a target for manual tuning
The Q45s are pretty good, but grab them at the hundred dollar price point. They were on sale at BestBuy for that and are worth a C note, but don't expect these to compete with Sony, they don't, no matter what the TH-camrs that were sent a set for free to 'review' say about it.

Great video I’m very interested in the Q45 but I have the Q20’s and I love them except the clamping hurts a lot especially if I’m wearing me glass I can only watch 2 or 3 short TH-cam videos before I have to take them off because of pain. Another youtuber said he thinks the Q45 headphones are comfortable and that they don’t clamp too bad but in your video it looks like they do. Would you still rec come these or do you know of a better pair of headphones that don’t clamp very hard but still have a great sound quality and decent or ok noise cancelation. I have 3 room mates so I really need a good pair that I can wear for hours at a time? Thank you if you reply and Thank you for this very thorough and honest review!

I found the earcups quite comfortable but the headband pressed a bit too much on my head compared to the Q30.

The only catch with q45 when using anc there is a lot of noise and wind the music breaks up a lot. Also there isn't a lot of bass.

Can u please tell me if I go for a40 or edifier neobuds pro . I like a40 bc they just came out and seem solid. But I never tried this type of airbuds. And neobuds have ok shape like airpods but they older and same price 100 euros. So I don't know which one go for

Just bought Q45 from Alibaba for 86$ LOL probably cargo price will be around 8-15$ still it is big deal unlike it is 150$ in Amazon. I am owner of Q30 I love my headphone. The only problem of Q30 is it is not power off automaticly when you disconnect from your phone or when you turn off bluetooth of your phone. You just need to press button for 5 seconds. Now I hope q45 is doing better job on that.

Bro! The details of these reviews are easily in the top 10 percent of the zillions of headphone videos I watch (I'm kind of a gear junkie)
I'm still on the fence about the 45's though, Sony's XM5s sound better to me in sound tests that I've listened to BUT I don't know that they sound 250$ better.
In short I'd like sony's more but features and sound that close at that price gap makes them a 50/50 choice for me at the moment.

you will be happy with those, but you are free to do what you want, return those and buy the 45, if you can't return it, buy the 45 anyways, I have a collection of headphones and use and enjoy them all.
Love my Q30s, for home use, they're bulky and fall off your head easily.

Apparently they pushed out an update to the A40s that significantly upgrades the call quality in noisy environments. I hope so since the default quality seems pretty crap from your sample. Nice review, mate.

The a40s are pretty good with the exception of the transparency mode. It drives me crazy. Sounds muffled and artificial.

Maybe you can get them right with the EQ but meh I can't imagine it getting better than well EQ'd Q30s. This sample was not super promising. Wonky highs, recessed lower mids and ugly bass. I like flat to 100 Hz and then 2.5 dB/octave rise down from there as a target for manual tuning

The Q45s are pretty good, but grab them at the hundred dollar price point. They were on sale at BestBuy for that and are worth a C note, but don't expect these to compete with Sony, they don't, no matter what the TH-camrs that were sent a set for free to 'review' say about it.
