It is sound more electric guitar. Because adopting deep gamelan integration like the one on the Garuda scene (the one you mentioned as phoenix) require more people. And this might clutter the stage. So a lot of traditional section replaced by the band itself, leaving only small gamelan and flute taste. IMO, the MV has theatrical vibe. Like those in the movie. This one has Attack on Titan vibe (Hiroyuki Sawano's compositions). Different vibe, yet both are awesome.

The song is titled "Mengheningkan Cipta" which means a moment of silence. It's often played during national ceremonies which usually have a moment of silence to remember and pray for previous heroes. Btw, a totally not your norm suggestion, but why not react to a video about Indonesia's geography/culture/language 😃.
