It sounds like the engineering department really understands the importance of producing a high quality, well thought out, and well researched product. This kind of approach is essential in today's marketplace.
Yep I fully stand behind blueprint engines! I’ve been running a blueprint 350 for roughly 5 years now. I’ve used the truck as a daily, pulled our boat, and abused it. I would take it anywhere without any worries. We got a bp 400 a few years back and that thing gets ran HARD everytime it’s taken out and has held up amazing!
I LOVE THE AFTERMARKET INDUSTRY. YOU GUYS ARE ALWAYS LEARNING AND GROWING. THAT IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT. THAT IS WHAT I TEACH. AND WHAT I PERSONALLY DO DAILY.
Its a commercial for Summit who is now the distributor for BPE. All their sales go through them. If you call BPE and try to order an engine you go on a wait list. Orders from Summit come first.
I am very impressed with BluePrint Engines. Do you have any plans to manufacture an aluminum LS7 block? I think there would be good demand for them now that GM has discontinued making those blocks.
Can someone tell me what shorty headers would work with the raised exhaust port that come on blueprint engine cylinder heads? .500 raise going in a 1987 Camaro. Square port I believe
They were at first. But when cores get harder to source because so many OEM reman companies exist like MABBCO and jasper, it gets harder and harder to compete that way
IF YOU GUYS LOVED THIS VIDEO. YOU MIGHT CONSIDER TAKING A MACHINE SHOP CLASS AT YOUR LOCAL JUNIOR COLLEGE. THAT IS BASICALLY WHAT A MACHINE SHOP IS ALL ABOUT. AND WHY IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!! I LOVE MACHINE SHOPS!!! NO JOKE!!!! AND YOU ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW!!!!!
I have been considering buying a blueprint 427 SBC. But the question I have, which I am unsure of is; are all the internals their own proprietary parts, or are some/all name brand. And do these engines bolt up and accept any accessory a traditional SBC would accept?
WHEN I LOOK FOR SHORT BLOCKS FOR MY ENGINE BUILD. I LOOK FOR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. IF IT IS NOT AVAILABLE. I GO TO THE AFTERMARKET. BLUEPRINT ENGINES ARE MY SECOND CHOICE. THEN I BUILD ON THAT FOUNDATION. SOMETHING TO CONSIDER. THANKS FOR LETTING ME SHARE.
SUGGESTION: WE NEED MORE GOVERNMENT FUNDING FOR TRADES IN THE JUNIOR COLLEGES. TO EQUIP FUTURE GENERATIONS WITH SKILLS NEEDED FOR MANYUFATCTING AND PRODUCTION. SECTOR OF OOUR ECONOMY.
Stacks and stacks of aluminum cylinder heads. It's a shame that they price them up there with the big name guys. Wouldn't they rather make more money by selling more heads at a lower price or offer your heads for Brodix prices. They are fairly new in the cylinder head game so not many are going to pay the same price for bpe heads when there's Brodix, Edelbrock, AFR, etc.
Blue print are that in-flexible eg short motor or block only 400sbc is UNAVAILABLE WTF Very very pathetic . 400sbc require improved cooling in the head gasket area . Only some high level block makers are doing this. As far as I can tell blue print are not doing this .
Summit has always been my "go to" for all my after market parts! Best of the best in prices and availability, their tech service are 2nd to none!!
Thank you for your kind words & business Brian !

Thank you for watching, Thomas!

Fixing all of the LS engines flaws is a massive undertaking. Respect.
Just think about how popular the LS engines would be if they didn't have "all these problems" 😂
Surprising good video. It's not a 15 minute advertisement, but an interesting shop tour. Good job.
Nice tour Justin...BluePrint Engines are awesome...engineering is amazing...thx
Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it !
Seems DUDE is excited more than I am excited.
COMMERCIAL.
You can buy it.

You guys should sell 3d printed plastic blocks. People would definitely buy them. I would buy one for a table or make a cut away.
Be a lot cheaper to buy a real one
Handheld Laser spectrometers are straight out of the Original Star Trek

I was not aware they made their own blocks..I though they were remans.

@@KingJT80 makes total sense.
They have slowly swapped over to their own blocks. In the last year or two they have switched over to their blocks exclusively from what I understand.
Cool!
Thanks for watching Able!
How do I get to contact Lopez like to speak to someone directly?

I'd contact them directly and ask.
Need to get better springs for the 632
Do they cast new heads too, specifically, cast iron small block chevy?
From what ive seen all the sbc heads are aluminum and they are indeed their own design. There website is pretty detailed.
I would take a motor
These are stil 1940's designs detroit dinosaurs .
that crankshaft vibration part is really throwing me off. stronger if not as strong as a forged crankshaft he says. very odd

$5200 for a 302 sbf, steel headed long block. Insane.
Can't believe people call cast iron heads "steel" 👍I'm just ribbin ya!
We invest in this new technology to save the end customer more money 😂
Ok just keep blowing up OEM blocks with too much boost or nitrous
The problem with the (so called) blue print is , it's not built for different preformance needs of a customer and car!!
Blueprint 347
Welp, i pulled the trigger and hopefully recieve a 355 longblock for my truck soon…
THE ICE MOTOR IS ALIVE AND WELL IN 2023 AND BEYOND.

"Crate motor" ?
Blueprint is into electric V-8 motor designs?
I always understood they only manufactured crate engines. Not electromotive stuff.
3D PRINTER, THE FUTURE OF HOT RODDING. JUST LIKE CARBON FIBER PRODUCTS.
The ginger guy should calm down a bit.
A little bit too much Adderall guys...
This guy and his hands…. Need better cast
Electric is the future. BluePrint engine will be out of business in 15 years.
I hope you never become blueprint electric motors.. or I hope I’m long gone by then.
So casting come from china
Summit guy is a turnoff.
something strange about dude
Picking up a gay vibe.
I did to when I read your comment.
How about a blue printed V-6 4.3 Chevy
for my Sonoma looking to make 500 HP.
Lose the music
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I LOVE MY HOT ROD FAMILY!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!! THANKS FOR SHARING. YOU MADE MY DAY!!!
Please Start doing some Mopar blocks
Why on earth does BPE not offer bare blocks?? Companies usually start out selling bare blocks, then later on offering assembled engines.
Buy a bare block from Dart.
Id love a turnkey sbf for my mustang project!
Wish they'd make an affordable big block mopar head.
Nothing Mopar is cheap. You wanna be the cool kid you gotta pay...
So how do I get a job here?
