@@shoestringmotoring no it doesn’t, as it’s got the wire inside connected going up to the top of the air con so ya can’t just pull out from behind as only comes out a little

The two screws hold clips that swing out of the way. You might move them withought unscrewing. Mine were tight. The pick-up is then released and the tray comes out..

Air coolers are the ultimate waste of money, I've bought an a.c at 150 and my huge room is always cold, these are the biggest con in the world, if 150 for a decent little a.c is a lot, you gotta splash out bro what's the point in life otherwise
Alot of what you have on yours I honestly thought were things not working properly on mine. For example the front grill not going up and down.. It goes down automatically and stays down until you manually pull it up and also the fan going on and off is a pain in the a**e so can only use one fan option so it stays on. Same as you, I don't think it cooled the air and it was only a small bedroom! Waste of money in my opinion.
Yes, I agree. When I bought it, I thought it might be similar to a a/c unit, but as you know, sadly not. Just a fan really. I gave mine away a while ago.
Great review man, thank you 👍
My pleasure. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Was it noisy or ok to have it in the room during night time?
No more noisy than a regular fan really.
Have you found it leaks water from the bottom
No I haven’t
Do you know how to remove the water tank out to clean?
It just pulls out from behind.

what is the model number?
Afraid I don’t know. I gave it to my son last year
Can anyone recommend an AC unit that's not too expensive?
Maybe look on Facebook market for a local bargain
For another hundred dollars he could have gotten the air conditioner version of this exact machine.
Homcom air conditioners are between 200-260$
@@astralfluxaf AC kill off the electric bill maybe these air cooling things dont take so much energy
Air coolers are no good , just go and buy a portable air con unit

I’ve had these air coolers before purchasing a homcon air con, no matter how much you clean the filter they always end up stinking. Waste of money
Pretty much what I think too. In the long run air con is the way to go.

What ac did you get please?

Buy an air conditioner not a cooler if you want better results.
Air con removes the humidity in the room which is bad as you can develop sinusitis and things as such due to too much dry air ..
of course the temp is constant , its not refrigerator. if you need temp lower, get a proper air con like inventor.
I know that, but the point of this is to see if a cheaper solution is anywhere as good. Thanks for your comment though.
