- These are the cars that I bought from the consignment shop. I think they are the coolest. I still don't know exactly what I will do with them but for the meanwhile, let me show them to you.

This is so lovely! I don't think that I have ever watched ASMR in the mid morning but I just couldnt wait to watch this! I, too, have happy memories of my brothers playing with their matchbox cars and scaletrics tracks. I am just amazed at how many cars Melissa managed to pack into those bags! Interestingly, Volvo is one of the top semi-truck brands. We see them quite a bit in the Pacific NW. Maybe it's a regional thing. I had a few Match Box cars growing up. My uncle had Hot Wheels and some elaborate race tracks. We're only 8 years apart so we played with those together quite a bit. Fun video! I think you made some good choices on the "keepers." Love the sounds that the wheels make and how you handled them one by one. Super relaxing. :D zzzz
Oh my gosh Samantha, I have fallen asleep to the no-talking version of this video twice now. It’s just the most amazing sound to me. The cars mainly. I could swear I have children playing quietly near by and that is the bomb for me. Siblings or children...it’s so nostalgic. Dreamy. 😴😴😴

🤣 I remember playing with the racetracks with the wires and you would have the triggers. And if you tried to full throttle the trigger the car would just stall. Used to make me mad. Always losing race to a faulty trigger. 😠🤭🤣

This was delightful! And it immediately took me to my childhood!😁 Hearing the car wheels' sound coupled with your voice, gave me tingles!!! My favorites were the volkswagen bugs! At 48:28 I believe that’s actually a speed machines casting by Mattel. They were never popular but are considered pretty rare and can be quite valuable. Not sure if thats what it was but that was definitely a Mattel casting and an interesting piece.

This was the world's SMALLEST car show, lol! I'm not interested in cars, but, like you, they bring back so many pleasant memories. I was raised with two brothers, plus my own son when I grew up; so there were a lotta lotta cars in my life! In the late 60's, my brothers had a Hot Wheels race track with a big loop, on which the cars would fly around on the inside of it, seemingly defying gravity, lol. And if I had a nickel for every microscopic tire I vacuumed up after my son [I could finish paying off the mortgage, lol!] Every time he got a new car, within 5 minutes, the tires would be stripped and up on blocks! Fast forward to today, he is 35, and still loves working on cars as a hobby. Sorry to hear you have a sore throat, dear friend...sending prayers that it's nothing serious, and that you will soon feel yourself again. Take time for some rest and self care

My son didn’t play much with cars. Artist and intellectual type, he was. But we had a few around the house. My best memories are from my own childhood. I can imagine the irritation at picking up tiny tires!! 😂😂😂

Hey Mindy! Glad you enjoyed this video. I am mesmerized by it. The Sounds, I mean. I have actually not had a chance to figure out what I’m going to do with these cars yet. They are sitting in a closet all lonely and forlorn. But I do intend on either donating them back to the shop or giving them to some of my kids on the bus. Going through them again with collecting in mind. May be a little bit of all of them.
