- So today started off with a trip to the vet with Greg's cat! That's right, poor little kitty got into a cat fight, at least that's the assumption. A few stitches later and some medication and he's all fixed up! Oh and more dog training classes today!

I've had to stay with my three ESA cats in a bedroom at my brothers house for 4 months while my parents & I found an RV for me to live in (on disability, which for those accepted between 21 & 50 yrs, is avg of poverty line. Section 8 in my area, when actually open for applications, is avg of 7 yrs wait). During that time, my cats & I were quite stressed due to how little space we had, but the only other option was living out of the car, which would have meant giving up my cats to a shelter & all three aren't likely to be placed (diabtic, cancer, & anxiety that causes one tiles outside litterbox...they'd all be euthanized before I found a place, no doubt). I had also developed 2 new chronic pain conditions that had me even more bedridden than normal, so it was hard for me to intervene fast enough in cat squabbles sometimes.
Well, the youngest (who had intestinal cancer & often swiped at siblings when in pain) got pissed at my oldest (who was diabetic) for just walking by her & bit her on the back, a pretty good chunk, too. Luckily, it was the night before all three were about to go into the vet, which was an hour + away, so they were able to stitch up the bite then. I picked up a thick raincoat for the oldest to help protect her whole back/sides, which worked quite well to prevent other injuries from then on.

I Dod Remeber Greg getting that kitty!! I don't remember who's cat had had kittens that Greg was adopting another cat. I also think that was around the time that Greg was trying to get his Scratching Post YT channel off the ground, and at the time his other kitties all had names under the theme of, "The Star Wars Universe," and the debate was whether to stick with that theme or stray from it.

We have a nasty cat next door. It attacks all the other cats around and people. He has sent his owner to hospital a few times. Another neighbour has a small stumpy girl and she stays over with us when Henry is out. We don't mind and she doesn't bother Tikaani nor the guinea pigs. If she runs I have to grab Tikaani as she has a big predator drive, typical husky.

My other question would be was Greg's wounded cat the instigator, or was he/she just defending itself the best way it could??
