I luv the fact that Vaughn granted him the request - on the tape at 17:56 where he announced the request: The elder came on set at track 21:08 - you will see him clearly at 38:00 - 39:55. It appears the elder stayed on the set playing his drum/percussions for the balance of the set. Much respect to mi mon Vaughn and his band for granting the request.
