Thanks Dave , I'm really happy your enjoying my videos!
Hi, very useful. it worked on FW and panorama as well.
Glad it helped
Excellent info, something i was looking for sometime, however i'm getting the below error, any thoughts for the reason?
error code 400: Bad request - Returned when a required parameter is missing, an illegal parameter value is used (keygen)
Great Video. I just downloaded the .zip from your blog. Thanks for that. About to give a try now.
1 quick question, lets say i have already have an object group named 'abc'. So, can i add more IPs to the 'abc' address group by simply mentioning 'abc' in the .csv file?
Awesome. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Hi August, I am not able to get exe file from the link . Can you please send me the exe file
Can we use this method to import security policies in CSV format ??
Amazing
Great Vedio
Hi MD tech , I am getting 404 error from the link . Also not able to download Pan-CLI.exe ?
Any one getting the error, error code 403: Forbidden - Returned for authentication or authorization errors including invalid key, insufficient admin access rights (keygen)?
Does this have any relation to the password I am using? Yes, its does contains alpha numeric and special characters.
Hi the method doesn’t work in our environment can advise if there’s any ways to help resolve the issue? I am to port the objects address groups to palo alto panorama from checkpoint.
It’s showing error code 12:Invalid object - Xpath or element values provided are not complete
Is there way to bulk upload security policies and NAT rules using this tool ?
I think for that you need to export the running config and add those new rules then import the config again with the changes - don't forget to "commit" after the load ofc
Is there any documentation on how to add a Tag to an existing object?
Hi Jay, I had same thought, I’m still unable to figure out what the syntax is for the “tag” command. I’ll keep trying. Guys if there is anyone out there who has worked this out, please put it in the comments below. Thanks
Is this software safe?it's really useful but I'm afraid about its security. Can you explain this to me?
HI mat , I have a typical problem . I have created the csv file and ran the command . But it's giving me below error. "error code 12: Invalid object - Xpath or element values provided are not complete".
I was trying to add 400 address through in one address group . Sadly Only 3 or 4 are getting added . Any solution for this ? Any information needed please buzz me in the chat .
I had the same issue. because the Description was invalid for this tool. try to give a short description with one word or connect them with an underscore Character instead of space in this field .
Hi guys I had the same issue , my solution is open a new xls
and save as new csv and then paste ip addres etc from another files
it is not working
where is the pan-cli-master zip ? i cant find it
Hi din, I beleive Irek Romaniuk removed the files from his Github respo. Check out the details in the video discription. I've provided a way to download the files from my website. Thanks.
Hi, Github link is not working. Can you provide the valid link
Hi Rajiv,
It seems Irek Romaniuk has removed the pan-cli tools from his repository. You can download from my website at www.mbtechtalker.com and at the bottom of the "How to automatically bulk import address objects into Palo Alto Firewall" blog post there is a link to download the zip file. Hope this helps 😀
@@MBTechTalker it is the download zip file does not have pan-cli file
Hi MB, I don't see pan-cli exe in the folder?
Hi Tejas, you can download from my website www.mbtechtalker.com/bulk-object-import , scroll to the bottom of the page.
@@MBTechTalker Thanks, it helped me a lot!!!
PAN-CLI is no longer available for download.
Hi Preston, we’re you trying to download from GitHub?
@@MBTechTalker yes the project is no longer there and this is exactly what I needed.
@@MBTechTalker never mind I read that you now have the files
