Watched the review and loved it! Went and ordered one for myself! Now just waiting for it to arrive. I tried to find a Pepsi can version but I was only able to grab a phase V scheme.
oh, that's sad they're gone already! i was contemplating another one! they're awesome sounding locos - you'll love 'em.
They should really do a lot better in the lights/LED's department. They don't look good at all. Very cool -8.
Very nice 👍🏻
Pulling around a curve up a grade , that is a stress test for sure
it's all or nothing!
I'm liking your review and comparison, but is the Loksound V4 or V5?
V5.
Say thanks to NS #7559😂😅@@AlleghenyNorthern
Please could you check if your locomotive has magnetic or non magnetic wheels .
the wheels of locomotives are not magnetic.
@AlleghenyNorthern Thank you , mine are magnetic and this is not good .
@@unionpacific7I think it's electrical static. Just clean your wheels on IPA.
@@AbelG8781 Thank you , I will try .
@unionpacific7 the thing about brand new locomotives I find, is that they get greasy residue from transit and humidity while stored. Wipe em clean full speed and hopefully it'll stop attracting metal particulates.
Glad to see a review of these. I got one in Amtrak Phase V. Micro-Trains is producing some Amtrak MOW equipment next month which will look great with this locomotive.
ugh. i have zero space for more MOW cars... so obviously i'll be purchasing those. i mean, the whole set - 'cause they'll get lonely if they don't have friends to hang out with.
@@AlleghenyNorthern I will be purchasing as well!
I have read that there is an issue with the sound-equipped units in which the fuel tank hangs slightly too low, as it wasn't retooled to accommodate the new speaker. Have you observed anything to that effect?
I did not have any issue with mine and i have a few areas where the track is less than ideal with quick elevation changes. so if someone was having issues with theirs, there was either or problem with the model they got or their trackwork must be a disaster.
I had this issue in mine. Sanded out the bottom just a little bit and its fine. An easy fix
I understand that you can contact Atlas and they will ship you out a revised tank if you need it.
