11041 DEPARTS PUNE - FABULOUS WDM3D ACCELERATION

Up 11041 Mumbai CSMT Chennai central express departs Pune junction after its scheduled halt with a few minutes delay. The legendary 12129 Pune Howrah Azad Hind superfast express waits for its departure right behind my train. As my train crawls out of the station, a Pune Alco tags along for a few meters. After clearing the TSR, the moment that i waited for finally arrives. The KYN WDM3D leading the train starts to chug its heart out and accelerates brilliantly through the coaching yard as it heads for its next halt at Daund.

Why are so many people trepassing on tracks in India? Is that allowed in India? In my country (Germany) the railroad police would show up immediately and they would be fined heavily.

The main issue is the lack of law enforcement. There is an acute shortage of police officers in India. People use that as an advantage and avoid using the actual dedicated bridges or subways. Also, these people are seeking to save time and save energy as well. The same idiots get runover by trains and then blame the government or the railways for their apathy. This is very normal here. However things are changing but at a very slow pace.
