We also staid at the NPB and had a normal room. I was a little bit surprised that our room had a terrace and you "only" got the balcony. Our Room was absolutely quiet and looked the same (without the extra bed) than your room. W relaxed every morning and evening at the terrace. It looked like you didn't got chairs on the balcony :O Thank you for your Video. :)
Ah that’s lovely, glad you had a nice terrace to relax on ☺️ Tbh I think we only opened the balcony door about twice as we were hardly in the room! 🙈 The pool is lovely isn’t it? Wish we’d used it more
@@CaffeinePixieDust to be honest, we didn't used it 😅 Our room was directly behind the pool area and we watched the people there every night. But next time we will try it out... I hope 🙈
Thank you so much for showing us around your Compass Club room. My husband has surprised me today on my 50th birthday by booking a trip here in November!!! 😍 It’s so lovely to see what it’s like and after watching your video, I’m so much more excited now!! It looks beautiful 😍
Hi me and my family just returned from our first ever trip to Disneyland paris and it was magical. We traveled by car on the eurotunnel and stayed at the sequoia lodge in a golden forest lake view room for 5 nights 6 days. The hotel is lovely and the staff are so helpful and friendly the only thing I would share is that we were on the 6th floor of the north wing and only 2 out of 3 lifts were working so we had a long wait most days watching the lift go up and down but not stopping at our floor which got a bit tiresome. We got the half board premium plan and we as you went to inventions on our first day WOW. My daughter had the princess experience and then had lunch at submerge de cendrillon she really had a magical day.we also did the wild bill show which we all enjoyed atmosphere and great food. I have just watched (and liked) your Newport post and am wondering if I book a standard room do I get the fast pass tokens as well as being able to book a fast pass slot with my entry ticket. As i think staying in a club room gives you this extra is this correct maybe you can answer ? I would like to thank you for all your posts they have really been so helpfull and really helped us make the most of planning our trip keep up the good work.
Hi Gary, am so pleased you had such a wonderful time - it is simply magical isn’t it? 🏰✨I am sorry to hear about the lift problem though, I can imagine that got pretty irritating - especially when you are eager to get into the parks for extra magic time etc! Glad to hear that (aside from this) you liked staying in a Golden Forest room in Sequoia Lodge - I have a friend who loves it there too! Great choice for Inventions for the first night - such a lovely welcome to the park (and definitely takes off the pressure to queue for characters you’ve met there!) The Princess for a Day experience followed by Auberge de Cendrillon is wonderful too isn’t it? 👑 So pleased you enjoyed the Newport Bay Room Tour video - think I’ll do my review video soon too which I hope will be useful. Re the Hotel Fastpass you only get one a day at Compass Club level (same as Golden Forest), with standard rooms you use your ticket to get your ride fastpass (unless you are in a suite then you get a VIP fastpass....would love to try that out! 😎) Really glad you had such a fab time and that you are finding the videos useful - lots more on the way! ✨
Caffeine&PixieDust Hi again thank you for your fast reply and for the V.I.P fastpass explanation. And yes It is Magical I am not a disney fan but it is an amazing place to be there is something going on everywhere you turn and we were given some walk on tickets by another guest then we gave our V.I.P fastpasses to another family and this sums up the spirit of this place. I have a 8 year old and 15 month old and can recommend disney junior live and we all went to Mickey and the magician twice what a show Anyway thanks again. P.S thanks to you my wife almost spent our shopping budget on glowtinis lol
Hi Zoe - thanks for posting this! It’s super helpful - I’m planning to get my husband and I to DLP while we’re in Europe next year and am researching how things work there (I used to work at WDW Wilderness Lodge in 2010). Anyway, I’d eyed off the Newport club rooms but there does t appear to be any availability when we can actually get there, but from your tour the rooms don’t appear to be much that bigger than a normal hotel room, is this correct? Since Newport wasn’t available I was going to try booking Sequoia Lodge club (which will also be a nice little compare-and-contrast exercise to Wilderness Lodge 🤗), but if the rooms aren’t that much bigger perhaps it’s not worth it? The main concern is because my husband is so freaking tall, I always have issues with him being comfortable particularly when we go to France 😜 Thanks again, loving your videos they’re so helpful. Cheers from Sydney! Elise
Hello! I just have a quick question. If we pay for Disney express, will we need to check into the hotel at any point? Or can we leave the park after illuminations and go straight to our room? Thanks.
Ooooh that’s a good question as haven’t done it myself yet! Looking on the website it looks as though you’ll still need to go to the concierge after Illuminations etc to get your luggage unless you have a club room which might be different?
We stayed in 2014. We loved new port bay. Was our first Disney holiday and it was a wee surprise 5 months before we got married.

Ah, I will be club level, I couldn't resist upgrading when I heard so many lovely things about it.
