I Saw a Cruise Ship Being Built | Norwegian Aqua Ship Tour and Norwegian Luna Construction in Italy

- I saw two Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ships being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy. I was able to go on aboard the Norwegian Aqua and view the construction progress. I was also able to view the initial construction of the Norwegian Luna. It was a really amazing and a big thanks to Norwegian Cruise Line (@norwegiancruiseline ) for the invite.

I had missed this video, but just watched it. That is pretty impressive and very innovative. Probably saves them a bunch of money too regarding wasted food from a buffet line.
The engineering which goes into shipbuilding this size is impressive.

What an amazing trip. I have opened several casinos, and know what it is like to see something huge during construction. Being inside of the ship had to have been so much fun. You will never see it like that again, and only certain people are ever allowed to see it like this. Thanks for sharing the experience.
Tony, of all the wonderful videos you have done, this is by far your BEST WORK!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the inside look and the interesting wandering of a ship still in construction!!! It shows the insane amount of engineering and the intricate construction that is ship building. Seeing the captain so involved was (to me) astounding and completely wonderful. This was really cool. It was cool to see everything behind the walls. And it's always amazing the miles upon miles of cable and wire.

Made me wonder which ships I’ve been on were built there. To the internet I went. I knew Disney Magic & Wonder. Also Princess’ Star, Crown & Golden. MSC Seashore. I love finding connections.
Your enthusiasm makes this extra special. All the ductwork and wiring hidden behind walls and ceilings is amazing. And, of course, just being near Venice with the hotel, boat rides, day trip to Murano, lunch at the vineyard. A boat from the airport! Could you ever have imagined?!

Awesome video thanks Tony. I have had the privilege of touring shipyards in several countries in my warship building days and they never fail to impress. Seeing a cruise ship from this perspective is an entirely different and fascinating experience though.

Loved the video of the ship being built in the shipyard, browns back memories of when I was in the navy and spent a year in the Bremerton ship yard which by the way had the same kind of cranes that you had shown in your video.

I'm only sad that the video wasn't longer - MUCH LONGER (but I totally understand). I used to work in a shipyard (submarines), and loved walking around and seeing the ship(s) in various phases of construction, and then seeing the final product(s). Whatever length of time you were actually onboard, must have felt like only seconds. I'm sure you are SO looking forward to getting back on her when she is done.
We did about an hour. I do have a lot of footage :)
