With games like these, they are _barely_ paying attention to anything besides the actions of the characters, and just making up so much crap on what they see. Both are still great, but this game really lets them be mindless and just have fun.
It's because nobody cares about the story OR the gameplay in games like this. There's lots of bad games with beloved stories and amazing gameplay experiences with no story, which means there's both something to distract from the bits, or give people something to complain about. Games with no virtues whatsoever like this one are just big wins for everyone, endless laughs all around.

Absolutely continue this game. This is my favorite type of Game Grumps playthrough: a game that's just compelling/narrative enough to provide material to riff off of and create running gags, but not so compelling that the narrative prevents S-Tier commentary over the game. This feels like classic Grumps and I am here for it.

I don't think he's underrated, it's just mind blowing Dan and Arin don't know who he is. I feel like anytime I bring him up to someone they give praise and know who I'm talking about. My favorite performance of him is in Vice Principals, but the scene when he gets executed in House of 1000 corpses is incredible.
To modernize a game like this, you'd basically make the same game, but add in you character coming up with excuse after excuse for why his body cam is off, or malfunctioned, or got stolen, or back in the squad car, or is on backwards etc.just excuse after excuse that nobody would call you on unless you're in court in front of a judge, and even then just hit him with your best excuse, you'd have a lot of practice by that point...
I mean that's literally what the entire show is about it's just them coming up with more and more ways to get away with their dirty cop shenanigans. Spoiler The end of the first episode is literally Michael Chiklis shooting a cop in the face because he was put on his team to gather Intel on their illegal activities.
If Vic didn't spend so much time constantly looking at Margos' chunky pants, he probably wouldn't have had all that dirty laundry involving him crouching in front of Margos' dryer repeatedly looking back at said dryer deeply pondering when the laundry was done before Margos had the opportunity to pick up his gun and shoot Vic.
This makes me want a video of the boys just watching random compilations of clips from the show and supplanting their own dialogue and plot on top of it. That intro had me cracking up.
This has a mid-to-late session feel to it. Like, they are in their GG Zone, but they also have started falling into the abyss of losing their minds; it makes for the ones that are definitely episodes
