Zekka is absolutely insane but I feel like the only "weakness" he has, if you could really call it that, is dealing with extremely high energy competitors. Zekka's style is incredible and one of a kind but the problem is that kind of style clashes with really aggressive and intense beats. I think that's why Villain was close in the scoring and I think that's why D-Low's second round barely secured the win. Both of Zekka's rounds were better than D-Low's first round without question but D-Low's second round was just way too overwhelming. People said that the reason that Villain undoubtedly lost was that his second round that was packed full of energy and aggression lacked proper structure and flow; which I disagree with but that isn't the point. D-Low's second round had it all and would've been nigh impossible for Zekka to counter. That's why Zekka chose to counter stuff he did in earlier rounds because he couldn't possibly answer after that round. I think D-Low deserved the win but I think OT would've definitely been fair too.
The first round of d-low the judges gave it a lot of points, sonik you say that its meh cause you like bass and drops and he went more musical and technical and with little details, d-low also said in the livestream that he did the first round to showcase some sounds he wont be able to use in future battles, he said he cant do them anymore cause it damages his vocals and it hurts cause he getting old lol, but anyway yeah its a matter of taste, and the judges understood d-lows first round and the point diference from both of their first round for the judges it was a 2 point diference, but for the judges d-low won the second round by a lot cause they didnt like zekkas counter that much, but that is high level judging and thats a whole other conversation😂

I will say, the counters from both d-low and zekka throughout sbx were a highlight and zekka definately deserved his place in the competition.

Plus zekka's only counter was the inward bass or whatever it was at start of his second round. The megaladon was a seperate battle so he didnt even answer something d-low did in his second round, he just ignored it and went the easy way with a previous round and the counter was just words it wasnt like d-lows counter where he replicated zekka's sound perfectly and turned it into an entire round. D-low destroyed zekka when it comes to counters
