Other then a some of the sensors for the fuel injection system on the rover v8 there is not much to go wrong or be unreliable, they tend to do 400k km without a problem, that engine is kind of the heart and soul of that car.
Looking forward to viewing the finished product! It was only a matter of time before someone looked at the RRC for a ground-up 'RestoMod'. After perfecting the Defender, it IS the next logical evolutionary step. Cheers!
Bloody Nora boys, think twice before using the soft dash as your center piece. DO outsource seat upholstery (nothing else;dash carpet head liner....) Keep it up Rover boys!
Portals option like G wagen 500 !, give it a 2" lift with wheel spacers, 235 grabbers, heavy duty 24 spline half shafts, diff locks x 3, galvanised chassis, extend the rear bumper with foot tread and galvanise then paint silver, Rock sliders beefy enough to winch the car sideways ie connected to chassis and across to the opposite side Rock slider, Rock slider need winch points every 300mm and galvanise and paint
Hate the rendering of rear corners and what looks like a curve to the hood side profile , dont do it !!!. If you wanna improve it then rework the upper door frames to a chunkier profile and rework the curved hood situated between the castellations

it's almost perfect all it's missing is some good rims and some portal axles. The rims are kind of tacky
