I had this toy as a child. my grandmother bought it for me in chinatown, san francisco. In my mid 50’s now, I heard a rattling sound in a childhood box ,opened it- and a rocket dropped out. It was in there for 44 years
Shame there never was a Jumbo Machinder/Shogun Warrior based off of Johnny Sokko's Giant Robot. The rocket missile finger gimmick would have worked perfectly with a GR figure.
Missiles directly on the balls of the shoulders are hitting my eyes the wrong way 👎👎 The position of the shoulder missiles of the two outward versions is much more esthetically pleasing, in my opinion 👌💕
Ever thought of hunting down the Italian Mattel mini machinders of Grendizer and Mazinger? They are completely unique molds and seem to be fairly common on eBay right now
I seen that one and it went for about $160 which is out of my price range--those are not to common on ebay just hoping one will pop up on yahoo japan cheaper :)
Hi I just saw your video on your itialan and Canadian mazinger shogun warriors I have a type one missing the head ship missile hand and chest peice rockets too but I'm not worried about those do ya know anybody with parts it would be realy helpful thanks
mate i love these figures..i could never get them as a kid..prolly cant find the room now or money..so im glad im watching your videos on them..an awesome visual collection..tell your FB friend. he is a great custom builder..cheers mate. all the best.
Congratulations on the new Mazinga! Very cool! Interesting to see all the differences and reused parts. Hope all is going okay with your wife. I've been selling off some stuff lately, too, to help with home finances and maybe a new purchase or two. Nice Voltron!! :)
I had one similar when I was young. Traded mine for Star Wars in my 20s. I have a couple more videos of custom work. How do you guys get so popular with all your views? I'm just starting out, but I just want to share my stuff and some artwork for everyone to enjoy.
Awesome video man. You're right, I really need to get one of these guys! But... which one is the cheapest to get? I know these aren't a very affordable line.
They are getting more expensive every day--as far as which one to get thats up to you --Mazinga is a good place to start and will always be favorite. PM on facebook sometime I will try to help you out.
I posted a link a few times on facebook and in a few comments on youtube to a video that is pretty much word for word what I thought about it but you might be a little young for the language used in the video so I will leave it with a quote--- "It is honestly harder to explain why the prequels are bad because it is complicated--while this film is so rotten in most aspects I find it hard to be convinced that people actually find quality within it."

I was born and raised in Iowa and I had this exact Shogun warrior mazinga as a small child
The one that you're saying is from... My parents bought me one exactly like that in the United States in 1976.

Indeed! Thanks for watching
