I actually adore eating chicken hearts, liver and stomachs. Cow and pig hearts are also taste good. Sure, they don't look appetising, but oh my god not only do they taste as good as regular meat, they're also way cheaper usually. We also feed our cat only on meat and organs and not cat food. They still have a smelly mouth but their gums are much healthier now and they eat less but gain more weight. So yeah. Organs are amazing. Especially chicken hearts in a ragout or liver соltets with some mashed potatoes.

if you get freeze dry capsules and you tend to psych yourself out with organ meat i recomend holding your breath before swallowing. sometimes if you exhale you can still smell/ taste that organ meat "funk".
I like to blend mine up then mix it with ground beef. The ground beef helps mask the taste I get mine at the Asian markets in my city. They usually have a good variety of organ meats available like kidney, gizzards, heart etc .
I would be careful with beef, chicken or any type of liver. I've ate some multiple times, and the results were the same. I became irritated uncontrollable and start ruminating bad. I think its due to the high vitamin A content. I felt better after a few days and some apple cider vinegar with water to flush out the excess. I've had better results with beef kidney however.
I don't think vitamin A caused any of this, unless you consumed five pounds of liver daily. Also ACV with water doesn't flush out vitamin A or any other fat-soluble vitamins. How much liver did you eat?
@MichaelKummer I assume it was since it was irritable and symptoms of excess vitamin A is irritability. About two weeks ago, I ate about 8 ounce of chicken liver in a two day period and the results were the same but not as bad as beef liver.

🇮🇳Hi, I’m from Karnataka state of india. I don’t eat muscle meat from goats or sheeps, because I find it very chewy… So my choice is always goat / sheep liver (khaleja), tripe & intestines (boti), brain (bheja), kidney (gurda), heart, testicles (beeja), spleen (tili). They taste awesome with Indian spices & masala❤. Unlike USA, South Indian non-vegetarians love organ meats, that’s y the organ meats are as expensive as muscle meats…
I am also from state karnataka dist Bidar, lykin hamare Doctors to in chizo ko lene se mana karte hain aur wo hame cholestrol ke naam pe darate hain, kaunse doctors ki baat mane ?
It's probably because beef liver is much more ubiquitous than sheep liver. In other words, it's much easier to find beef liver than sheep liver. From a nutritional perspective, the liver of any ruminant animal is a superfood. So eat whatever you have access to :)
I was just checking them out. I grew up in the tropics and yeah, beef liver and beef kidney was definitely part of the cuisine. Didn't know about steak till I came to America
I eat 2oz raw beef liver with my waking first meal of the day. I also mix ground beef heart and kidney into my daily ground beef. Love it. I source them all from my local Stater Bros meat department.
Taste and texture preferences are relative arguments. You can’t “prevent” bacteria but if the source of the (organ) meat you consume did a good job, the risk is negligible. Same as with raw milk.
@@MichaelKummer can't say that I have nor know of any place that sells it in the states, but I am certainly intrigued. I'll start with an organ supplement for now. Thank you for the video

Beef liver is as superfood based on how it makes you feel as soon as it hits the blood stream. It's like a meat based drug.
What's the taste like? I go for lamb liver because I heard beef liver has a strong flavour.

You can do that, no problem!
If I had to pick one, which would be better for pregnancy? The Beef Liver capsules or the Beef Organ complex?
I'd do the organs because they offer a broader micronutrient coverage!
