Hello Willie, right on time with this video.
I have question regarding SFP/SFP+ modules. Many people including myself would like to build 2.5/5/10gb network at home. Fiber looks to much smarter way to go since it's less power demanding than copper at these speeds, networking gear is about same price or cheaper for fiber.
Would it be possible to do some overview video what modules would work with what popular devices UBNT, GS, Mikrotik... devices and explain possible cross brand or SFP/SFP+ module incompatibilities or pitfalls to avoid?
Much appreciated, keep it up. Looking forward to hear about new GS gear.

Great info as always Willie. Picked up a GWN7003 and GWN7812P to replace a UniFi setup because of your videos. Everything has been setup and running great in the home lab. Now I need to setup NordVPN. Can you do a tutorial on this?

I wish the quick wizard had a part to select the PORT you want to use for WAN. When u use the default 3, then add it to the cloud it forces it to port 1 then fails because thats the SFP port :( Lost ALOT of hair learning this with my 7002.

Wait! Please help me out here. So SFP IS capable of more than 1 gigabit? To get 2.5 Gbit do you need SFP or SFP+?

How good is Grandstreams 1:1 NAT functionality? Will it accept multiple IP ranges on a PPPOE WAN?

I have 2 GB service, so I'm gonna need SFP+ ports. Is that something that may be on the horizon?

What are the hardware specs on these routers and what is the performance characteristics? It seems that for $70 it would be running on a 8088 cpu with 256k or ram. Even those cheap Chinese mini computers start at over $70 {Geekom Min Air 11 sells for 169} I'm so confused! Thanks for helping me out.

I need a rack mount version. not sure iif the 7003 is or not but I'd lik,e to see a rack option.
Would you cinsider thiese better or equivalent to an OPN sense feature wise? Wish they would have done SFP+ instead of just SFP

Keep your eyes peeled. The 7003 is rack mountable.

were you explicitly told NOT to mention any competitors? we want comparisons.

I feel like gigabit is completely outdated for high end routers at this point. I need a decent attainable 10gb router

Yeah but it's Grand stream. They'll stop supporting it, worse than Ubiquiti.

I doubt it. They are still support products they should have given up on.
