Experience the remarkable journey of Wilma Rudolph, from polio survivor to Olympic champion. Despite being told she would never walk again, she not only regained her ability to walk but also won bronze in Melbourne 1956 and three gold medals in Rome 1960. Beyond her athletic achievements, Wilma's legacy includes paving the way for female athletes and coaching underprivileged children. A story of resilience and triumph!

Didn’t she have a film about her story?

Yes, there's a TV made movie about her. It was called "Wilma". In 1977 it came out . Denzel Washington played her future first husband in the movie (Denzel's first movie). Shirley Jo Finney played Wilma and she looked just like her too. Wow!
