average age of 40 students is 15 year. [given]
after including 10 new students there average age increase by 0.2 year.
therefore,
sum = average age x total no. of student
600 = 15 x 40 ..equation1
**after adding 10 new students**
sum = average age of total student x total no. of students
760 = (15+0.2) x 50 ..equation2
hence, the total age of 10 new students is = 160 [760-600]
now, average age of 10 new students is = 160/10
= 16year
