@@Planner_girl_kel no I get no funny looks I get sometimes people wanting to ask questions but it’s a small town I live in everyone is super friendly I was setting up my hobonichi cousin and a hobonichi notebook with stickers and washi and vellum it can feel weird at first but once you do it it’s really fun to do highly recommend
@@beccihoughton2732 that’s good. I don’t think anywhere near me has a big enough table. You’d be hard pressed to fit 2 plates on there. I’d be worried I’d knock my drink over my planner lol

I recommend using a sanding sponge/paper to smooth out the edges of the book. I use one when I cut down inserts for my TN. Thanks for sharing😊

Oh Becky, what a breath of fresh you are. I'm going back to planners after more years than I care to remember. Still have my old leather Filofaxes from the 80's that I used! Been searching and searching for Uk based planners after watching lots of set-ups that aren't set-ups, just walk throughs, from the states. somehow, I found this video of yours. It is brilliant. I can actually see just how to use all these things I've been buying on Amazon. it's great to hear you recommend UK sellers too. I say from a complete newbie please please more of these videos. I need to build up my confidence before January 1st to actually fill the blank pages in my planner. You are so natural to watch; I could watch you all night. Oh wait, I almost have, it's 3am. Thank for this, a real tonic. I cannot wait to go and find your other videos to binge watch. What a treat. Sorry for long post.
If you use a light sanding block against the edges you will get smoother cut edges and it will save you the time of hand picking the bits off. You need to ensure the book is clamped well to keep the pages tight together when you sand the page edges

Love your videos. You crack me up. I’ve had a total of 5 surgeries on my spine two lumbar and three cervical. Each surgery has helped but it seems once they started we can’t stop. Pain medication, muscle relaxers, & anti inflammatory work.

I subscribe to the Ultimate *with your code* and I can set up my Happy Planner Classic for the whole month, my A6 Stalogy, AND my Hobo Cousin with the one kit. And I have SO much left over for the Weeks if I so choose. I love having my months across all my planners have the same theme and I can do that with this one kit. Fantastic! (I will say that this kit had a page that wasn’t cut very well though and the adhesive wouldn’t come off with the sticker - just one page out of the lot though)

Becky, I'm living for these set-ups!!! Have you heard of Un-du? It smells like death but it removes stickers effortlessly. I use it often cause I can't get my stickers straight either! LOL I hope your back starts feeling better soon! Take care!
Haha I got some a few weeks ago it smells ok to me. I also got goo gone which only removes residue and it’s meant to be lemon scented but it’s really not and I hate it lol

I've cut a cover to fit my standards before. But I never used the tape method! I always tuck the excess into the back sleeve portion. This could be a new way to add some extra deco!
