The lag in battle is probably from the way the game was coded. I know that damage calculations can take a while to solve, not too long, but given with how there's a bunch of events all happening at the same time can cause it to lag unless you build a battle engine from the ground up just for those occasions. And I can't help but notice how un-smooth that HP bar goes down. So clunky, but it works as intended, unless the programmer wants to spends hours creating a decent looking slide.

things to note: the game is extremely laggy, not usually because of the computer, but because of the program it runs on, another thing, uranium pokemon are generally stronger than regular pokemon, pajay is actually not even the strongest fire type, inflagetah has flame impact, a 65 power physical fire move which has +2 priority, it also has the ability accelarate, meaning all priority moves (mostly just flame impact and extreme speed) deal 50% more damage
That is good to know for sure, didn't even consider Inflagetah to be that good. Catching a Flager on Route 9 is even somewhat early in the playthrough :D
Nice video! if you're ever looking for another pokemon-like experience I found temtem to be pretty fun, like what pokemon should have been when it transitioned to 3d. It does have an upfront cost though.

Would you consider reaching out to someone like WolfeyVGC to get into competitive? Enjoyed the video on Uranium, it is a bit too custom for my takes, but it was a good video and looks well made. Ive been watching a lot of emerald Kaizo and some Radical Red and I have to admit that there is a lot of planning before each battle, looks like an interesting challenge though :D
Hey Solem. You should play Pokemon Insurgence. It has a really long and compelling story, as well as cool looking pokemon. It's really fun
I actually played through this game! I loved all the delta species (I am a little biased towards the Venusaur, Haxorus, and Ralts variants)
