Dude I recently found out about this reef and since I live so close I checked it out with a friend and I just want to say thanks for all the things you have been doing in the key with cleaning up trash and how you preserve oceanic wildlife with the artificial reefs
I collected a bunch of concrete and cinder blocks that people had thrown into the ocean over decades. Yes, I did build them by myself, but Hurricane Irma destroyed them completely. I'll probably post another video when I rebuild them.
Good video, but please use snorkel so there is more underwater video. Spent many hours in the 1960’s snorkeling hard coral reefs off of Crandon Park and Key Biscayne Hotel. Well out into grass beds. Finger coral and rose coral. Think chlorine dumped from hotel pools may have ruined them. Also spent many days collecting at Bear Cut. Thanks for the memories.
