Sword Art Online: Lost Song is technically the third game in the SAO series following a brand new timeline. Unlike the previous two games in the series, Lost Song ditches the classic turn based RPG mechanics for a much more expected hack and slash dungeon crawling battle system with the big twist being the addition of flight and online line multiplayer, that almost turns it into a hidden gem, so what's missing?

I own it and all the SAO games but I haven't played past Lost Song yet unfortunately.

I wonder why they can't pull off a good SAO gacha game? Can't they take queue's from honkai star rail, counterside, milineum tour elf and epic seven and perhaps others and create one like that? It would be so good!

Dunno. I haven't played any of the SAO mobile games, but I have beaten (and reviewed) Dengenki Bunko Crossing Void which was a gatcha RPG where Kirito, Euguo, Asuna, Yuki, Sinon, and Llenn were all playable. Sadly that game has been shut down.
