TH-cam is filled with over engineered, over complicated diy projects for the average man in his shed, but only if he has a cnc machine, a mill, a pillar drill, a metric lathe, a furnace and half an acre sized barn to work in. I don't. I like simple, size efficient, solutions. And this my friend is exactly that and makes good use of what is already available. I make 95% of my own tools out of "whats here" and due to lack of space and money , inevitably have to recycle the parts into other projects over and over again. Ill be making your device from treadmill rollers. That have previously been motorised wire strippers, table saw roller stands, aggregate convey belt, aluminium round moulds and the list goes on.
