Here they go again! This couple specified that they wanted a DETAHED property with some land. Why are they being shown ATTACHED properties This makes me so angry. The couple needs to refuse to look at what they didn't want!
😂. They can only show what’s available and what’s in their budget. Perhaps people are requesting something that’s unachievable in their price range, so then comes compromises. The countryside probably has a limited selection available.
Why ask people what they are looking for and than ignore their brief? Detached house with land, is never going to be a converted barn split into 3 properties with a SHARED court yard. Why waste their time?
I've liked the first house from the outside with the beautiful surroundings very much! The second house was fabulous on the inside and the mystery house was in the perfect area, close to the sea and with a fantastic private garden. I do understand that none was right for them though. I've enjoyed the rock candy making process!🍭🙂 Thanks for sharing this episode!
Sometimes I'm baffled by the propositions. House number 2 - why?? - attached on both sides with shared land and more than 100K under budget!! What's the point! In Lancashire in 2015, 600K was a sizeable budget and it seems difficult to have found any house that wasn't detached for that price! Really - what's the point.
Coming from Lancashire having lived there most of my working life, I feel you missed some fantastic areas with beautiful houses with the budget you were given
Liked the barn terrace. Liked mystery as well. This couple need to decide where they want to be though - one wants coastal one wants country. Also countryside isn't always cheaper although Lancashire has higher prices than I was imagining, but that might have been those specific locations.
Another dud of a housing selection. Not one of the houses offered had either sea or country views. The 2nd one was attached. Really awful selections, surprising for a big budget.
#1 was the only house that had what they were looking for. The annex wasn’t a top priority, if that wasn’t there and the rooms were more square with land - A Match. Really like the host, but was disappointed with the house choices.
I would compromise on the land and garden size for the mystery house. It was the cheapest out of the 3, detached, located close to the sea, modern, bright, and airy, 4 bedrooms with a master ensuite and turnkey
Wow what an exciting couple. They really didnt explain very well what they were looking for in the first place. Be adamant about detached only. They were so drab the program could only guess everything....except the detached. They failed with the attached home.
its clear to me from the first house they don't want to be attached to anything so the second was sort of a slap in the face although idk if they told the show they wanted detached. i mean you are basically living in an apartment or block of flats regardless if its one place or 100 its still shared living space. i hope the mystery house at least is detached.
Gosh I find some episodes intensely frustrating... couple specifies what they do and do not want and then get served up a bunch of the latter. They're obviously primed to give their impressions and feedback upon each viewing, and lo and behold, if they're not chastised when they're honest, and chided when they're circumspect???!!@@ It is 40 minutes of gaslighting and demeaning Supreme, all in front of a camera to boot.
Point of grammar rant :) > I wish people would stop using the term 'you guys' when referring to a man and a woman, or two women, or to a mixed group of people. The term 'guys' originated with the gang culture of the 50s in the U.S. Can we perhaps say, 'you two', or 'you', 'you folks'?... 😃
I used to work on software teams that were mostly men and I'm a woman. One manager would refer to our team as "you guys...and gal" - ugh! So I told him I was one of the guys and to just include me in that. So next time he called us "you guys...and guy". It was hilarious!
oh well the mystery house was a disappointment as well, kind of an affront to them by it being just like their last house when they were looking for something different. usually this presenter does better than this so we will call it a fluke! she's not laura at least missing every single place no matter the show!! lol
Nice, but not sedated: simply polite enough not to turn angrily to the presenter and ask why they're being shown properties that don't meet at all their stated criteria.
This must be one of the worst episodes I've seen of this normally satisfying prog. None of the houses suited them, for pretty obvious reasons. And they had a great budget for the time and the county. What were the programmers thinking?? They were such a nice couple but completely let down by the prog. And the presenter seemed to be struggling too. Goodness knows, couldn't they find any properties to fit the brief???? I find that hard to believe.
2 attached homes and then one that didn't have the land. Really didn't listen to the buyers wishes. That's why they were less than enthusiastic.

They can’t get what they want for their budget! The show can only find what’s available! Why do people think they would do it on purpose? Seriously!😂
😂. They can only show what’s available and what’s in their budget. Perhaps people are requesting something that’s unachievable in their price range, so then comes compromises. The countryside probably has a limited selection available.
I totally agree. It’s like she didn’t listen to what they wanted for their 600 thousand. They are way too polite.
Tina Collins, really ? It makes you so angry ? What a lot of wasted energy on people you don't even know, right ?
Why ask people what they are looking for and than ignore their brief? Detached house with land, is never going to be a converted barn split into 3 properties with a SHARED court yard. Why waste their time?
Availability and budget + location. They may not be able to afford what they want and detached houses with land are a limited stock even then.
When customers say they do not want a detached home ---- they mean it and ought to be respected !

It is especially daunting when the agent will not listen to one's wishes. I would refuse to look at things I was not interested in.

A bit painful to watch, It was like watching a pair of customers ordering lobsters and the server is trying to sell them chicken. 😩
Liked the barn terrace. Liked mystery as well. This couple need to decide where they want to be though - one wants coastal one wants country. Also countryside isn't always cheaper although Lancashire has higher prices than I was imagining, but that might have been those specific locations.
They asked for detached.

Are they supposed to apologize for not being enthused with properties that didn’t reflect their wishes?
Totally
I liked the house by the sea
Why do you do that over and over and over again??? This couple told you they wanted a detached house and straight away you show them the opposite...
I would compromise on the land and garden size for the mystery house. It was the cheapest out of the 3, detached, located close to the sea, modern, bright, and airy, 4 bedrooms with a master ensuite and turnkey
This host is a wee bit mocking of her clients.
Wow what an exciting couple. They really didnt explain very well what they were looking for in the first place. Be adamant about detached only. They were so drab the program could only guess everything....except the detached. They failed with the attached home.
Did they take the wrong people? The selections weren't anything like what they asked for. I thought Lancashire would be less expensive.

Yes the mystery was detached and way below budget but didn't have the land they wanted.

What a useless show - never address buyer's requests
The presenter did not listen to this couple at all,2 attached houses & 1 without land. Come you need to listen a bit better

@@TerryInUSA 🤣
Indeed, it is inappropriate in this setting and comes off unprofessional.
And what about, "Shall we GET in?" One of my great bugbears!

A nice, heavily medicated couple.
