Amazing stuff!,she 'surfs' the cross swell and it gets pretty rough towards the end and it's a HOLY FUCK! moment when the ships screws almost break thru the water.

It was earlier that year that we went on the Black Watch, from Dover to Norway.
A beautiful cruise. Lovely heading north, but a bit rough coming back down the North Sea.

Holy Cow!!! Amazing... What is also interesting, is that she rides the seas very different than Saga Ruby.. Although the seas are diffferent, her ride is incredibly different.. Thanks for sharing.

One of the three ships originally built for Royal Viking Line backin 1972-73. The former Royal Viking Sea, Star and Sky have retained their modern good looks.
Indeed they have. I have admired all three ships since I first saw photos of them as a boy back in '73. Can't wait to FINALLY sail on 'Black Watch' in 2018!

Es una "vieja dama" que seguirá navegando unos años más, precioso barco. No tuvo tanta suerte el "Saga Rose", hoy salió de A Coruña hacia Southampton en su último viaje antes de ser, probablemente, desguazado.

Si, el Black Watch entró por el canal de Seixo Branco y a su estribor quedaban las olas rompiendo en el banco de Xacentes. Buena observación, estupendas para hacer surf,jejeje. Saludos

Craziness. Do some research about the seas in this port of call before badmouthing the ship here. You ain't' seen nothing yet..
