Saw you guys at expo today amazing tables. Spoke to a really nice chap who also plays British para. I did say I'd check the channel out so here I am to say hi!
I have one word for you my friends... Kursk! Please do some tank battles. Oh and by the way I have been painting lot of minis with you guys on video, listening anyway after all I am painting Grenadiers. Interesting things have developed. the terms "Dudebros" and "Duffas" have worked their way into my vocabulary. Your influence is World Wide!
I got the British Tank War set in the recent Warlord coronation 20% off sale - 6 tanks for £84 was a great deal, plus they gave me an A5 rulebook, which I didn't need, as I've got one plus the hardback but I won't complain about extra free rule books :). The Warlord Shermans are really nice but I don't like the Italeri Churchills so much. Ill have the Sherman platoon and, I've made 1 Churchill for my 8th army and I'll build another as an AVRE. I think the German set is interesting but maybe would work on a bigger table in a high points game? Otherwise it might have been better to have 3 PzIV's, a Panther, a Tiger and another vehicle (Stug maybe?) so you'd have your 3 tank platoon and a choice of 2 out of 3 other tanks as support. I'd really recommend you try some Rubicon kits, they do a very nice non-zimmeret Tiger , plus having just built a Pz III and IV, all for my Afrika Korps, I can recommend those highly too. Whats a good way to show you guys pics of completed models?
Absolutly love Bolt Action and yours videos too - downside the postage from UK is killing my wallet since Brexit...keep doing the great job though guys :)
A nice look in the set there chaps. Wondering if the Tiger inclusion is just because thats what the casual player wants to play with? Bit like the Sherman.
I actually build my first panther the other day. The tracks really feel like a mess. I had to press really, really hard to make the two track parts actually connect. Not sure what the issue here was, I aligned it so that the wheels ran between the spickey bits inside the track, and the one wheel was positioned in a way that the spicky bits wont interfere either. Still, I basically sat for ages pressing with all my strenght in my fingers so that the tracks kinda stayed together, so that the plastic glue could dry a bit. It still left some gap in between but I filled that with green stuff afterwards. It was the second bolt action vehicle I've build so far. The first one was a puma last week (I'm kinda only collecting my favorite vehicles at the moment, not looking at points or rules). I had a kinda similar issue with the top and bottom part of the chassis. But I only noticed after a day or two that there actually was a gab in the front. Its weird that I did not notice it while building (I'm building 40k stuff for over a decade now, so I have somewhat practice). Also there is a long piece that goes at the right heck of the puma, which is actually higher than the heck itself. So it sticks out. Which is a bit weird as well. Other models don't even have assembly instructions. I had to google some bolt action pictures for a few metal models I assembled the other day, trying to figure out which part goes where and what parts are just access metal from the manufacturing and which parts belong to the actual model. Not so happy with the assembly of bolt action stuff so far. Especially that so much is metal. I glued a Flakvierling the other day and let it sit for more than 24 hours. I wanted to prime it today and metal parts already broke of when I tried to get it on my priming tray. I forgott how much I hated metal stuff falling off or chipping paint (which then shows shiny bare metal) from my old warhammer models.
This tank though incredibly cool 😎 suffers from all its real life problems. Over engineered and way to costly on the real historical battle field and on the table top. For example this is what you can get for the price of a tiger one regular in bolt action and is my 500pts list (1) Second left with aid (2) 3 regular squads x6 men early war with MG34 (4) 2x SDKFZ 10 (5) truck plus MG34 Opel blitz (6) Pak 36 , (7) Kubel wagon for commander , Tigers 🐯 maybe cool 😎 but my mechanised infantry platoon costs the same as the regular tank lol 😂

The new acting panzer sounds like it will be more tank heavy
Gotta love those big cats.
Oh yeah

We have a Facebook group called modelling for advantage friends and fans.
Nice set .good unbox guys
Thanks.
A bit big tank heavy. But I guess that most players want.
It’s ok in big tank battles , a few big tanks and lots of say panzer 3 and 4 to make up the numbers
I would have preferred to see some pzIV instead
Nice that they add the supplement rules, couldn't resist checking out tank war (from a distance), cavalry in heart and soul here 😄
Cavalry have far better trousers!
@@ModellingforAdvantage And we had stylish Shakos during the Napoleonic wars but only one horse power 😄
Very cool unboxing and review guys
Thanks mate
They are starting to build up the love ❤️ getting more and more views

Quite possibly.

Tigers were in North Africa and Russia mid war. Panther as built as a reaction to the T34.
Indeed.
Great vid again, was wondering on your stocks of tobruk and kasserine flames of war starter sets as im putting an order in on thursday
Mrs Kaiser is on the case.
