    There's a short cut to deal with qus 6-
    When 7.5l of water is added then the ratio of water must have increased and the ratio of acid must have been the same, i.e. In the old mixture
    5:3
    After adding 7.5l of water
    5:3(+some amount)
    And there's only one option where the ratio of acid is still unchanged i.e. 5
    b) 5:6

    Concepts : 2:21 - Ratio same when mixture transferred from one vessel to another.
    Imp Qs : 10:24 - When 10L taken out & replaced, ratios might change, but quantity remains same. Note - Quantity was unchanged, dont focus here on ratio.
    11:50 - chance of making mistake. Take the equated ratio for finding soln.

      yes, after replacement ke baad new soln ka ratio change hoga thats common sense right !! only removed part and balance part will have same ratio :)

    In last question, the options were so easy that there was no need to solve the question. We know acid is not changed so it's value will be 5 in the resulting ratio so option b is correct without even solving

    Sirji, your teaching methods are great, especially that you are teaching even difficult concepts for free.
    I had a small doubt, in the last question, was there any need to do all the calculations? (if the options are available)
    As we know, that in the final ratio, Acid will remain 5 because we are only adding water right, so the value of water will change, but the Acid's value would be 5 only, in terms of ratio, so we can see from the options that only the second option has the Acid as 5. Hence, we can choose the second option without the extra calculations, right?

      Ya yeh logic hamesha apply hoga?

    Agar Mai exam de rha hota: then i would have solved last question directly from option as the quantity of acid remains unchanged hence it will always be multiple of 5

    In question 5 can't we just assume x at first step and take 3x : 2x then subtract 6 from 3x and 4 from 2x add 10 to 2x then. Equate to 2:3

    @12:41 Answer should be 20 litre because initial ratio is 6 : 4 which is 10, and then multiplied by 2 is 20.
    Why taken 6 : 9 ratio instead of 6 : 4?
    Sir pls explain or anybody also observed same?
