      J RMiami Height really isn't much of a factor as much as being flexible, having good hands, playing hard, and having a high football IQ.

      +BigTen Buckeye Unbelievably underrated. He wasn't even invited to the NFL combine, but he'll be playing on Sundays somewhere. I just can't see that kind of talent being wasted cuz a he's a little small.

    I'm not hating. Quite the opposite. I'm not that impressed with his speed--all of us sprinters are that fast. BUT his stop and go, change direction, and acceleration are as good as it gets. I was fast, but I could NEVER do that--I've rarely seen that combined with that level speed. FINS UP dang

    I go to TTU, and went to every single home game, and this dude puts on a clinic EVERY game.. Every time the ball gets in his hands, everyone is holding their breath because he could take it to the house. VERY quick, great blocker for his size, and if you havent seen his hops.. look at him jumping on a 6'1" box. Amazing talent, and EXTREMELY underrated. Broke TTU's all time receiving record against UT this year too (on that catch at 4:20)

  • @jasondiew
    @jasondiew 8 ปีที่แล้ว +101

    Why do people care so much about his size he can play football and score touchdowns that's all that matter he is doing things that 6 foot players can't do and it's amazing give the guy some respect he would smoke you on the field in real life.

    • @jasondiew
      @jasondiew 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Just realized he was still in the league today on madden. Good for him

  • @woodglen57
    @woodglen57 9 ปีที่แล้ว +77

    This guy could be the biggest steal in the draft this year if whatever team he gets drafted by finds a way how to use him.

    • @JustBombsProductions
      @JustBombsProductions  9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      +Griffin Wood Agreed. Teams will be concerned about his lack of size, but he's a very talented player. I'm also a Steelers fan and he looks much tougher than Dri Archer. Archer depended on outrunning defenses in college. Grant can actually make defenders miss.

    • @woodglen57
      @woodglen57 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +JustBombsProductions I don't blame the Steelers for releasing Archer after realizing how bad the numbers he made were. But after watching tape of Grant, I see a young Darren Sproles. Despite Grant being a much better strider than Darren, they both look and play very Identically too me.

    • @JustBombsProductions
      @JustBombsProductions  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Griffin Wood Agreed. Sproles is definitely bulkier. Both are extremely quick. As for Archer, it just seemed like a wasted pick from the start. He just didn't seem like he'd fit the offense. Plus, he struggled in the return game. With that being said, Jacoby Jones was terrible and Wheaton struggled against the Broncos fielding punts. Maybe Grant is the answer?

    • @woodglen57
      @woodglen57 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +JustBombsProductions Maybe he could be the answer to our problem. And maybe he could even do extra credit by helping us even more by becoming a starter in a few years and becoming our next Antonio Brown. Just think, Antonio Brown came from a kinda small school like Grant. One reason why they were both predicted to be drafted in the late rounds is because of there size. They are both fast, they both are good at special teams, and they both came outa college without much of an audience! Now I'm not saying that this will happen since we'd be lucky to even draft this kid, but I'd sure like it to turn out this way...

    • @JustBombsProductions
      @JustBombsProductions  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Griffin Wood I'm with you. I'm not sure Steelers draft a WR though. Wheaton, AB, Bryant, DHB and Coates. We'll see

  • @maxhydekyle2425
    @maxhydekyle2425 8 ปีที่แล้ว +24

    "he'll never be D1." "This guy isn't going to last long in D1" "He's not gonna get drafted" "He's gonna get hurt right away and never play" If I learned anything from watching Jakeem these past four years it's to never ever count him out.

    One of the most underrated things about this kid is his vision. The speed, the stop and go ability, maneuverability, athleticism is all obvious. But his vision on the field is incredible, the way he’s able to weave through traffic, making decisions and movements on a dime is Devin Hester-esque, he wouldn’t be as good of a returner and runner if he didn’t have that ability. Glad the Fins gave him the contract. He’s gonna have a breakout year if he can stay healthy. Fins up! 🐬 🐬 🐬

    That 15-16 season at Tech was a top 5 most talented offense in college football in the last decade and no one outside of the big 12 knew because they also had the worst defense of this century.

    Rick Spielman and Mike Zimmer have done an impressive job at finding talent in and out of the draft classes. I hope this young man is not off of their radar. He could bring some flash and splash to the Vikings low octane offense.
