Veeeery Important Question and one I’m paying for not knowing! I followed every single step of this tutorial except I used balls about half this size. FOUR in Red and FOUR in White! I wanted to hang them along my front porch so I didn’t have to buy 8 huge ornaments since they cost so much! They’ve been “drying” in front of a fan for 4 days and are still as tacky as the first day after painting them, and if the red touches Anything it leaves the color with it🙄 Now I have no idea how I can hang them next to each other as the wind will inevitably blow them into the porch rails or each other leaving the color behind! So frustrating! I have been crafting for years and never put so much time into a craft for it to possibly just have to be thrown away.
Don’t buy kids rubber balls. No matter what spray paint you use- it always remains sticky. I’m not sure if the paint she’s using is the ONLY paint that works. I wanted to make red balls- couldn’t find any paints that worked. Bummer 😢

Love it great idea 💡
where did you get the plastic ball from?
Hi there! I’m Jess from the video 🙋♀️ I purchased the ball from Walmart (in Canada). You can also find them at some dollar stores in the summer 👍
How do you store them?
Nice..but I would have put the gems to the bottom
But rustoleum paint doesn't ever dry on rubber balls. It stays sticky forever. How did you get the paint to dry?
How long did it take the plastic ball to dry with the spray paint?
