Thanks for giving this very informative session. I am learning Power BI and this will really help me. Could you please also start end to end real time scenarios power Bi projects ?
@@mageshj6193 Direct query mode is available only for databases. As excel being a flat file is a very slow performant datasource and if we have direct query mode, for every query it has to go and fetch the results from the data source which makes it often slow and less performant. Therefore, MS has by default made all flat files to have the data connected in an import mode connection to enhance the performance and get the results quickly as the data is loaded into pbix file.
Hello Sailaja garu! Thanks for the initiation, I am planning to give PL-300 exam to switch my career path and looking up to your series to achieve it. Would you be able to help with some SQL concepts that are needed for power BI as well? Also when I see the job postings employers are asking for knowledge on Tableau, Python etc., could you please help us how to deal with those additional requirements as well?
Hi, Yes, i'm planning to do separate series on Tableau, SQL, Python after this Power BI series. They would also be complete end-to-end courses. While these series would take sometime to complete, i'm planning to come up with some FAQs in between from interviews to support aspirants to prepare.
