*Boy Group: girls in Korea are supposed to act in a different way than, for example, EXID act. The conception they have for women (it's been changing, thank God,) it's related with a delicate, feminine, calm and cute image, so when a girl doesn't act like that, she catches people's attention and a lot think she acts like a man because men "are" the ones who can act in a ruder or liberal way, that's why EXID are called sometimes "boy group". Of course, women can act like them and be women and don't be called "men", but in Korea is a whole different story. I'm saying this because there are people who think it's misgendering them, and it's not the case here. Just see it as if they were saying they are down-to-earth and carefree, not as an insult.
I don't know if this was a great idea since I've added videos of the year when they debuted and they weren't that known, so things they said don't necessarily need to see again the light now, but I couldn't contain myself and we already know that they are five amazing dorks, so it's okay! (I guess...)
What do you think about this video? EXID isn't scary for me, of course not, but I can understand why some idols might get shy around them since they are sunbaenims, beautiful and talented ladies, and also five crazy women :')

Honestly, I don't know if this was a great idea since I've added videos of the year when they debuted and they weren't that known, so things they said don't necessarily need to see again the light now, BUT... I couldn't contain myself and we already know that they are five amazing dorks, so it's okay! (I guess...)
EXID isn't scary for me, of course not, in fact, it amused me how they thought they are scary for other idols. Either way, I can understand why some idols might get shy around them. They might be their sunbaenims and they are also beautiful and talented, so their whole presence can be shocking. Besides, if you add to the whole mix the fact that they are crazy and don't give a shit about their image, so they are also unpredictable, then I can understand it even better :')

Plus their average height is tall for a girl group. They are even taller than some of the boy groups as well. So, it's natural that some will feel bit intimidated.
Love EXID! Esp their not giving a shit about image, they seem almost like me and my friends! It's like we became idols... :) The only other group like them is Gfriend, same deal, and they're tall too! :)

Man, I adore them. I love that they have way less of a filter than other girl groups. I think both EXID and Mamamoo are two awesome examples of groups not being afraid to ignore outdated ideas of what women in kpop have to pretend to be. I just wish there were more groups like them. Well with Mamamoo comedy is apart of their image so they play it up a lot for fanservice. With EXID it comes naturally so you can tell.
Also, there are tons of 'cute' or multi-concept girl groups who have a blunt/ comedic image. SNSD is a great example. And BEG before them. And so on and so on.
In korean terms people really like EXID because of their "gap" personalities. They appear to be sexy and fierce image in songs while in reality they are clumsy and natural.
And yes I agree that EXID is more natural and is something you usually see how normal friends act

I always forgot EXID is a KPOP idol group,not a bunch of dorks doing funny stuff.
When you read the title and already know what videos will be on it, you realise you have seen so much of this dorks. I love how they treat each others, they can be adorable but also scary (to people not use to them). They don't need enemies, they all fight each others. By the way I love calling them "boy group", It's a funny way we fans have to call them, plus they already accept it hahahaha

cheonjae yeoja Actually at the beginning I didn't mind because they even joke about it, but it's true that although it's a joke (because of how the K-Pop entertainment is), others say it really comparing them with one of them and that's annoying. They are girls, a girl group and they are breaking with how their society thinks or thought a girl should behave, what makes me very proud, because they are also an example for younger groups and even older ones.

r c Yes, I know. The company said a few days ago that they are going to come back in October... So, it's really, really soon! We already know Solji will be participating in the recording of the new album, but they are still discussing if she will be able to join the promotions or not because although she's a lot better, she needs to recover a little bit more. Either way, the level of her thyroid is regular now, which makes me very happy.

Hey I haven't messaged you in awhile. I have been participating in a really fun EXID international group on Favebook. I come back to these videos a lot. Amazingly entertaining. One thing I love about EXID and kpop in general is the humor. Another thing is kpoo allows us a glimpse into the lives and personalities of the idols, something that isn't as common with western celebrities.
Welcome back, I would say Kpop is generally more towards fan service though of course music is still an integral part of it. But kpop is more broad than just music to say the least. Though western artist still allows people to have small glimpses of their lives through social media just not a bigger platform like variety shows, radio shows and what not which kpop idols have.
