To my knowledge there were no factory 4 door Rangers in the 80’s in the USA. Thats why it’s a dream build. Lots of welding and fabricating. Then on top of that toss in a very dependable diesel engine that will last. Best combo ever. I am from the U.S.
Currently waiting to pay for the car to start my dream build, a 1973 Reliant Rebel estate (wagon), it's a tiny little car with a steel chassis and a fibreglass body. They are very light and there are loads of other engines that will fit in it. Currently leaning towards an Isuzu 1.7 turbo diesel 😎
Car Sick!! I live in South Wales, UK. From what I've seen the reliant chassis is pretty strong, plus those Isuzu engines aren't very big. I'll wait and see how it looks when I finally get hold of the car. It's so frustrating at the moment, the car is only about 300 yards from my house but the person dealing with selling it lives on the south coast of England 😳
My dream build is either a Locost or midlana using a turbo busa engine. I love the look of the Locost but midlana solves alot of problems for fwd or in this case bike engines. Another fun idea would be a Tesla donor. But the cost of battery/motor would be triple. Found your channel today. Also a FL native. Binge watched everything. Mildly entertaining lol. Probably way too late for the giveaway, but I've always had an undescribable desire to take a first generation Scion xB and but a Mazda 13B rotary engine in it and convert it to RWD. I'm not even sure if it would be possible with the underbody supports, but I just like the idea for some reason. Keep up the great work. I've been researching Locosts for about a decade and your videos are getting me closer and closer to the jumping off point.
Thanks! I really like the first gen XB, plus they’re actually pretty light weight. You can make it rwd, just take a factory rear subframe from a 240 or something, then reinforce the chassis with steel tubing, attaching the tubes to thicker parts of the xb chassis, make mounting locations that line up with the subframe mounts. It would be really cool. I’ve been wanting to make a fwd into rwd. maybe when i’m rich, and can build stuff all day.
I would love to put a V8 in my 180sx and change the front end from the pop up lights to a boss v2 lights and grille front end. Sweet sweet looks and sounds.
lol, proper rwd! It's weird that you don't see more 4g63 swaps around. I wanted to make a mid-engine crx with a 4g back in the day. I thought long and hard about it. Now I have the space, tools and know-how I didn't 15 years ago.

That would be a wild ride for sure ! and I've been saying the same thing for a while now, it's crazy how stingy them Evo guys are haha It seems the 4g is about the strongest stock block 4cylinder you can get. And I say proper rwd because that puny r160 just won't hold the power of the 4g. It's fine right now with a stock na 2.2 but any kind of real power would shatter the diff and axels, that's why I'm getting a taste fab r200 rear subframe conversion along with the axels and driveshaft (: I'm actually back to awd right now because it got to be a bit of a handful with all the rain. Can't wait till I can throw the rwd trans in again!
Im currently building my dream chassis and car but probably not dream motor swap in it... its getting a 3400 la1 with forged pistons over winter... prob only around 300hp sadly on 10psi but fiero is light so it should still b awesome... my dream swap for my fiero is a ferrari v12 swap cause that b awesome... other swaps ive considered are 4g63, k20, any vw turbo diesel or a electric swap... love your channel i just started making videos like a month ago been uploading daily but probably not the greatest videos but im sure they will get better

Currently thinking it would be hilarious to have a circa 2005-08 Impala SS/Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with the transverse mounted LS4, and put a second one in the back.

That car was hilariously clever: on the surface it looked like an autotragic, non-intercooled, slapped together turbo setup - in reality running meth, the limo-tinted windows were hiding the fact that the interior was gutted and windows were lexan, and oh yeah the second engine in the trunk. Oh how I miss USCC!

My Dream car build is the TG700. This car is my original design that was influenced by car styling of the 1960s. The primary influence is the Mezzerschmitt TG500. Nicknamed the "Tiger 500", it had a 500cc motor, 4 wheels, and was quite a performer in its day. My Tiger 700 will double the horsepower and cut the weight in half, so it will weigh less than a Harley Davidson. Think of it as a Hot Rod Mezzerschmit. It will be the mouse that bites! I have completed the TG700 design and the construction will begin in Nov 2017.
