@JLB i had many knives in my life, many expensive ones many cheap ones. Many of them failed after time and use. But extrema ratio produces knives which never failed on me, even in the hardest situations, they just always work my favourites are the Jagdkommando Glauca J1, Task J, Ontos, and fulcrum. They produce knifes with such a precision and superhigh standarts, i like the perfect steel and the well thought design, short to say you get what you pay for. Other knives companys i can recommend Pohl Force, Bayleyknife, wander tactical, buck, eickhorn. What i avoid and will never buy again, cold steel, crkt, spyderco, ontario, benchmade, medford.
@JLB The Ontos is out of the box as sharp as it should be, its a big knife for tough tasks and not for shaving. I have 2 Finish knives i like the craftsmanship and the character, but what i miss on them is the corrorsion resistance, extrema ratio has a nice oxide finish coating which is super corrosion resistant and it works great in every enviroment.
