How long do you cook the hard chicken for? How can you tell it’s done?

I cook it for about 30 to 40 minutes to tenderize it, then continue cooking it while making the light soup. So altogether, it should take about one or so. Your chicken should be soft, and the soup will have oils on top, indicating it is ready.
