- Just turned 29 and I am just unhappy with my life. I really love my personality, who I am as a person, but I am just alone a lot. I just don’t really have anyone to share my accomplishments with except my best friend. There’s people I like and they don’t like me or vice versa. They are just not interested or whatever. That is just life. Hard to find people on my wave length and continue it. Plus 10 people out of 800 people with my disease died so it weighs heavy on me. My problem comes to my disability and society views. I cannot change either so I am stuck in this limbo. Know a lot of others are stuck in this limbo, with or without a disability.

I'm Joe Sooch. I have Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva(FOP) where my muscles, tendons, and ligaments turn into bone. I get flares/swelling all over my body that can last a month to 2 years and bones will form thus locking my body into place. It is extremely rare with about a thousand cases on the planet. I am basically 95% disabled and permanetely in a wheelchair.
I noticed one interview you did that you knew the name of the book your guest was given by her doctor and she didn't remember the name. That impressed me. The reason I like you is because you are willing to be real and say your situation sucks! You are real.

I have 35 years old, I"m a person whithout a disability.... And its hard tô have friends... I try to get invole but its seems that there is wall...
Happy birthday! Honestly, having friends as an adult in general is hard, but of course the way society views disabilities makes it even harder. I don’t know you in real life, but I hope you can accept from me, a random internet person, that you are doing a great job.

There's almost 8 billion people in this world and we all want meaning and a spotlight. It's tough a lot of the time to feel important and recognized, I think these are feelings everyone tackles. As you said, I'm sure it's especially hard for you when people show initial curiosity due to your disability, and then interest fades. I'm trying to learn to find happiness in the simple things and the experience of life itself, because people are temporary.
